LVD has two other hydraulic machines of this nominal size, and the three differ more than their names suggest. The PPED 50/20 approaches at 160 mm/s and works at 9 mm/s. The PPEB 50/20 works at 17 mm/s. This machine approaches at 210 mm/s, works at 15 mm/s and returns at 200 mm/s, which makes it the fastest of the three on approach.
