Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Durma PBF 1030 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Durma PBF 1030 is the smallest hydraulic press brake in Durma's lineup: 30 ton over a bending length of 1,050 mm (41.3 in), in a machine 2,470 mm (97.2 in) long that weighs 3,250 kg (7,165 lb). The PBF series is the basic line, which Durma says it designed for users who do not need a high stroke.
On this model the short stroke is offset by speed. The beam comes down at 200 mm/sec, bends at 10 mm/sec and returns at 130 mm/sec, and both the rapid and the return figure are the highest in the PBF table. With 160 mm (6.3 in) of stroke and 390 mm (15.4 in) of daylight, it is quick on small parts that need little opening.
Small also describes the gauging. X axis travel on the back gauge is 400 mm (15.7 in), where the PBF 2560 and the larger models have 620 mm (24.4 in), so deep parts have to be gauged from the front. The X axis is servo driven on a ballscrew and linear guides at 250 mm/sec, and R is adjusted by hand. Between the columns there is 850 mm (33.5 in), and the throat is 250 mm (9.8 in) deep.
The standard control is the DT 10 touch screen unit, which runs on Linux and has 2D graphics; the DT 15 is an option. Note what the equipment list says about safety and crowning. The standard front safety system and side guards are marked Non-CE, and the crowning entries name the four larger models but not this one. Power comes from a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) motor.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Fastest beam of the PBF series: 200 mm/sec rapid and 130 mm/sec return
- Compact: 2,470 mm (97.2 in) long, 1,250 mm (49.2 in) wide and 3,250 kg (7,165 lb)
- 390 mm (15.4 in) of daylight on a 30 ton machine
- Servo motorized X axis back gauge on ballscrew and linear guides
- Runs on a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) main motor
Limitations
- Back gauge X travel is 400 mm (15.7 in), against 620 mm (24.4 in) on the PBF 2560 and larger
- Only 850 mm (33.5 in) between columns
- R axis is adjusted manually; a motorized X, R back gauge is an option
- The standard front safety system and side guards are listed as Non-CE
