Overview

The Durma AD-S 30100 is the lightest of the five three-metre models in the AD-S hydraulic press brake series, with 100 ton over a 3,050 mm (120.1 in) bending length. It is the entry point to the standard sheet format: a full three-metre blank fits the bed, and the force suits thin and medium sheet.

At this length Durma starts to list two table widths. The narrow table is 104 mm (4.1 in) and the wide one 180 mm (7.1 in). A wide table gives larger die holders and multi-V blocks a proper seat, so the choice should be made with the tooling in mind before ordering.

Speed is the reward for modest tonnage. The beam approaches at 180 mm/sec and returns at 120 mm/sec, with 10 mm/sec in work. The AD-S 30220 on the same bed is listed at 140 mm/sec in rapid. An 11 kW (14.8 hp) motor and 150 L of oil run the hydraulics.

The frame leaves 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the columns and a 450 mm (17.7 in) throat. Stroke is 265 mm (10.4 in) and daylight 530 mm (20.9 in). The machine weighs 8,500 kg (18,739 lb) and is 4,200 mm (165.4 in) long.

As delivered it has the DT 15 control on Y1, Y2 and X, a servo back gauge with 650 mm (25.6 in) of X travel and a manual crowning system. A 1,000 mm (39.4 in) X axis, motorized R and Z axes, CNC crowning and Durma's laser angle measurement are on the options list.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Takes a three-metre sheet: bending length is 3,050 mm (120.1 in)
  • 180 mm/sec rapid speed, the fastest approach among the three-metre AD-S models
  • Choice of 104 mm (4.1 in) narrow or 180 mm (7.1 in) wide table
  • 8,500 kg (18,739 lb), the lightest three-metre machine in the series
  • 11 kW (14.8 hp) motor and a 150 L oil tank

Limitations

  • 100 ton limits full-length bends to thinner material
  • Wide table is 180 mm (7.1 in), where the AD-S 30175 offers 240 mm (9.4 in)
  • Crowning is manual unless the CNC motorized system is ordered
  • R axis is an option, not part of the standard back gauge

Frequently Asked Questions

01 Is 100 ton enough for a three-metre press brake?

It depends on thickness and die opening. The AD-S 30100 puts 100 ton across 3,050 mm (120.1 in), which is the lowest force Durma lists at this length. Shops that bend heavier sheet at full length should look at the AD-S 30135, which has 135 ton on the same bed.

02 What is the difference between the narrow and wide table on the AD-S 30100?

Durma lists a narrow table of 104 mm (4.1 in) and a wide table of 180 mm (7.1 in). The wide table supports broader die holders and multi-V dies. The table height is 900 mm (35.4 in) in both cases.

03 How fast is the AD-S 30100?

Y rapid speed is 180 mm/sec, working speed 10 mm/sec and return speed 120 mm/sec. The back gauge X axis travels at 500 mm/sec. These are the same Y speeds Durma lists for the AD-S 25100.

04 What are the installation dimensions of the AD-S 30100?

Length is 4,200 mm (165.4 in), width 1,670 mm (65.7 in) and height 2,850 mm (112.2 in). The approximate weight is 8,500 kg (18,739 lb).

05 Which options does Durma list for the AD-S 30100?

The SKY 22, DA-66S or DA-69S control, motorized back gauges up to X1, X2, R1, R2, Z1, Z2, a Delta X axis with +/- 125 mm stroke, CNC motorized crowning, laser angle measurement (DAM), hydraulic and pneumatic tool clamping, an oil cooler or heater and robot integration.
