LVD PPEB 80/15 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the LVD PPEB 80/15 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from LVD or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

Short and configurable, the LVD PPEB 80/15 is an 800 kN press brake with a 1,500 mm (59.1 in) working length. It shares its frame size and its weight of 5,500 kg (12,125 lb) with the Easy-Form machine of the same designation.

The two differ in pace and in what is fitted as standard. The Easy-Form 80/15 has a 15 kW motor and works at 22 mm/s. The PPEB has an 11 kW motor, approaches at 130 mm/s, works at 13 mm/s and returns at 140 mm/s. A buyer who wants the higher speeds on a PPEB will find a turbo press drive on LVD's option list, described as giving high-speed bending and better energy efficiency than conventional hydraulics.

So the PPEB 80/15 is the version for someone who wants to decide each item. A two-axis backgauge may be all that simple brackets need; small parts with stepped or angled flanges justify five or six axes. Hydraulic clamping, a hemming table and a robot interface can each be added or left out.

The opening between the uprights is 1,050 mm (41.3 in) and the gap 400 mm (15.7 in). Stroke is 200 mm (7.9 in) under 400 mm of open height, the table is 120 mm (4.7 in) wide at 2,000 kN/m and the oil tank holds 125 L at 290 bar.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 800 kN on a compact 1,500 mm (59.1 in) bed
  • 11 kW motor and 125 L oil tank
  • Backgauge, clamping and table chosen to suit the parts
  • 400 mm (15.7 in) gap for parts longer than the frame opening
  • Turbo press drive available for higher bending speed

Limitations

  • Works at 13 mm/s, where the Easy-Form 80/15 lists 22 mm/s
  • 1,050 mm (41.3 in) between uprights
  • Laser angle measurement is not among the PPEB options listed
  • Open height of 400 mm (15.7 in) as listed

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How fast is the PPEB 80/15?

Approach 130 mm/s, working speed 13 mm/s, return 140 mm/s. LVD limits working speed to safety norms in CE countries, and the approach figure applies there only with an optional safety system.

02 What is the turbo press drive?

An option. LVD describes it as a turbo-driven press drive that provides high-speed bending and increased energy efficiency over conventional hydraulics. The table has a separate Turbo column for the 800 kN machines, but it lists only speeds, motor and oil.

03 Can it be linked to a robot?

A robot interface is offered as an option, for integrating any model of industrial robot at the time of purchase or afterwards.

04 What does the machine weigh?

5,500 kg (12,125 lb). The PPEB 80/20, with a 2,000 mm bed, weighs 6,000 kg and uses the same 11 kW motor and 125 L tank.
