Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD PPEC 170/32 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The LVD PPEC 170/32 is the strongest PPEC on the 3,200 mm (126.0 in) bed with the light frame: 1,700 kN, a 220 mm (8.7 in) stroke and a table 100 mm (3.9 in) wide. LVD offers the series in non-CE markets only.
Force goes up and working speed comes down a little. This model bends at 13 mm/s, the PPEC 135/32 at 15 mm/s. Approach and return are unchanged at 200 mm/s and 180 mm/s. The tank grows to 350 L, and servo motor power is printed as 13.2/15 kW.
The frame dimensions are those of the two lighter models: 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the uprights, a 410 mm (16.1 in) throat and 460 mm (18.1 in) from table to ram. That last figure is where a buyer should stop and think. Material that needs 1,700 kN usually needs larger dies and taller punches, and 460 mm fills up quickly. The PPEC 220/32 adds daylight, a 250 mm stroke and a 180 mm table, at the cost of a much taller machine.
This one is 3,500 mm (137.8 in) long, 1,800 mm (70.9 in) wide and 2,650 mm (104.3 in) high. It runs the PPEC-5 axis set, Y1-Y2-X-V-R.
Front sheet supports come with it. Hydraulic clamping, which LVD describes as quick-change, is an option worth pricing at this force.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,700 kN in the compact 3,200 mm (126.0 in) PPEC frame
- 200 mm/s approach and 180 mm/s return retained
- 2,650 mm (104.3 in) overall height
- 410 mm (16.1 in) throat depth
- Quick-change hydraulic clamping available
Limitations
- Offered for non-CE markets only
- 13 mm/s working speed, below the 15 mm/s of the PPEC 135/32
- 460 mm (18.1 in) open height is tight for heavy tooling
- Table 100 mm (3.9 in) wide, against 180 mm on the PPEC 220/32

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The PPEC 220/32 has 2,200 kN, a 250 mm stroke, 485 mm of open height and a 180 mm table, and is 3,200 mm high. This model has 1,700 kN, a 220 mm stroke, 460 mm, a 100 mm table and a height of 2,650 mm.
02
Approach 200 mm/s, working speed 13 mm/s and return 180 mm/s. LVD's PPEC table carries no footnotes about speed limits.
03
Yes. The PPEC 170/40 has the same force, stroke, opening and speeds on a 4,000 mm working length, with 3,150 mm between the uprights.
04
The table prints 13.2/15 kW for the servo motor of this size and does not explain the two values. The oil tank holds 350 L.
