Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD Easy-Form 640/80 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Eight metres long and 71,550 kg (157,738 lb): the LVD Easy-Form 640/80 is the largest machine in LVD's Easy-Form tables. Working length is 8,000 mm (315.0 in), force 6,400 kN.
It stands alone at that length. Every other model, the Easy-Form 640/61 included, stops at 6,100 mm or less. The uprights are 7,050 mm (277.6 in) apart, which is itself longer than any other bed in the series, so a seven-metre part passes straight through the frame.
Force per metre is the figure to think about. The same 6,400 kN that the Easy-Form 640/45 concentrates on four and a half metres is here spread over eight. Used at full length this is a machine for long parts in medium plate; used on shorter work it has the reserve of the group.
The hydraulics are shared with the other 6,400 kN models: a 55 kW motor, 850 L of oil, 290 bar, with speeds of 90 mm/s on approach, 9 mm/s in the bend and 100 mm/s on return. Open height is 570 mm (22.4 in), stroke 300 mm (11.8 in), gap 400 mm (15.7 in).
Over eight metres, deflection of ram and table is the dominant error, and a crowning system cut for this particular machine is what answers it. For still longer parts LVD lists tandem configurations as an option. Table width, table load and working height should be taken from LVD's quotation, because the published table prints those rows with mismatched units.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 8,000 mm (315.0 in) working length, the longest Easy-Form
- 7,050 mm (277.6 in) between the uprights
- 6,400 kN from a 55 kW motor
- Crowning made for the machine across an eight-metre bed
- Ram returns at 100 mm/s after the bend
Limitations
- 71,550 kg (157,738 lb) to ship, lift and found
- 6,400 kN spread over eight metres at full length
- Working speed is 9 mm/s on a long stroke
- Several table rows are unclear in LVD's published data

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Up to 8,000 mm (315.0 in). A part up to 7,050 mm (277.6 in) passes between the uprights; anything longer reaches into the side frames, where the gap is 400 mm (15.7 in).
02
71,550 kg (157,738 lb). The Easy-Form 640/61, with a 6,100 mm bed, weighs 57,000 kg. Transport, cranage and foundation are a project of their own at this size.
03
In total force, yes: 6,400 kN at 290 bar from the same 55 kW motor and 850 L tank. On a full-length bend that force is distributed over 8,000 mm, so thickness capacity at full length is lower than on the Easy-Form 640/45.

LVD lists tandem configurations as an Easy-Form option. The page does not describe them further, so the layout and control of two machines working together would be part of the project discussion.
