Overview

The Litz LH-630A is a 630 mm horizontal machining center that pairs a No.40 taper spindle at 10,000 rpm with a large work zone: 1,000 mm (39.4 in) of X travel, 850 mm (33.5 in) of Y and 950 mm (37.4 in) of Z.

It is an uncommon combination. Machines with 630 x 630 mm (24.8 x 24.8 in) pallets usually carry a 50-taper spindle, and the LH-630B fills that role. The A model is for big, light workpieces: aluminium transmission cases, motor housings, structural castings and large tombstone setups, where 10,000 rpm and quick tool changes matter more than cutter size.
