Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler FMH-1000 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
A one-metre pallet is the only thing that distinguishes the Feeler FMH-1000 from the FMH-800 in the maker's table. The pallet is 1,000 x 1,000 mm (39.4 x 39.4 in); every other row is the same, including the 2,000 kg (4,409 lb) load rating.
So why choose it? Because large parts are often limited by their footprint and fixture layout, not by their weight. A fabricated frame, a big aluminium casting or a wide fixture plate may weigh well under two tonnes and still overhang the 800 x 800 mm pallet of the FMH-800, leaving clamps with nowhere to sit. The bigger pallet gives that support. What it does not give is more travel: X is 1,300 mm (51.2 in), Y is 1,020 mm (40.2 in) and Z is 1,100 mm (43.3 in), so check that a part filling the pallet can still be reached at its edges and can index without fouling the column.
The cutting side is built for torque. Feeler describes a high-power spindle with gearbox and says these machines excel in low-speed heavy cutting; the table lists 6,000 rpm and a 7/24 No.50 taper. Rapids are 42 m/min (1,654 ipm) on all axes, and the tool row reads 60-120.
Other features named for the FMH-800 and FMH-1000 are a servo-driven tool change system, an APC servo rotary table with oversized locating pins, a T-slot high-base rail structure and a back wall built with high-tensile welded steel components and cast iron. The series text also mentions a 45-degree inclined spindle head for combined vertical and horizontal machining, which the table does not detail.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,000 x 1,000 mm pallets, the largest in the FMH series
- 2,000 kg (4,409 lb) pallet load
- No.50 spindle with gearbox for low-speed heavy cutting
- APC servo rotary table with oversized locating pins
- Rapids of 42 m/min (1,654 ipm) on all axes, with a tool range of 60-120
Limitations
- Travels are no larger than on the FMH-800 despite the bigger pallet
- Load rating stays at 2,000 kg
- Spindle speed of 6,000 rpm with no torque or power published
- Maximum workpiece swing diameter and height are not in the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
1,000 x 1,000 mm (39.4 x 39.4 in), with a maximum loading weight of 2,000 kg (4,409 lb). The FMH-800, by comparison, has 800 x 800 mm pallets at the same rating.
02
1,300 mm (51.2 in) in X, 1,020 mm (40.2 in) in Y and 1,100 mm (43.3 in) in Z, with rapid traverse of 42 m/min (1,654 ipm) on each axis.
03
The table gives 6,000 rpm with a 7/24 Taper No.50. Feeler's text adds that the FMH-800 and FMH-1000 have a high-power spindle with gearbox and excel in low-speed heavy cutting. Torque and power figures are not published.
04
Feeler says the APC servo rotary table with oversized locating pins ensures precise positioning. The indexing increment of the table is not stated for this model on the series page.
