Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Komo Mach III Twin Table that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Up to six spindles over two moving tables: the Komo Mach III Twin Table is the production end of Komo's router range. It is a twin-table machine in six sizes whose bridge can carry a row of heads, each with its own tool changer, so several identical parts are cut in one pass.
The tool changer row spells out the two extremes. The machine can be built with six 8 station tool changer heads for 48 tools in total, or with four 15 station heads for 60 tools in total. The base machine has one spindle with 15 tools. Each spindle is the standard Mach III unit of 18 hp (13.2 kW), four-pole and fan cooled, HSK 63F, up to 24,000 rpm. Komo adds that moulder heads and horizontal spindles can be fitted.
Sizes come in pairs. The 1005TT and 1008TT have two tables of 60 in x 60 in (1,524 mm x 1,524 mm) and 60 in x 96 in (1,524 mm x 2,438 mm). The 1010TT and 1012TT have two of 60 in x 120 in (1,524 mm x 3,048 mm) and 60 in x 144 in (1,524 mm x 3,658 mm). The 1605TT and 2005TT turn the layout around with two tables of 96 in x 60 in (2,438 mm x 1,524 mm) and 120 in x 60 in (3,048 mm x 1,524 mm), and their bridge travel grows to 258 in (6,553 mm) from the 162 in (4,114 mm) of the others. A wider bridge is what makes room for more heads side by side.
Z travel is 15 in (381 mm) on every size, which is the gain Komo names over the Fusion Twin Table. X and Y traverse at 3,150 ipm (80 m/min), Z at 600 ipm (15.2 m/min), and acceleration is 83 in/sec². Tables are precision machined aluminum (2 in) with four 1 in (25 mm) location pins each.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Configurable with six 8 station tool changer heads (48 tools total) or four 15 station heads (60 tools total)
- Six twin-table sizes, from two 60 in x 60 in tables to two 120 in x 60 in tables
- 15 in (381 mm) of Z travel on every size
- X and Y traverse of 3,150 ipm (80 m/min)
- Precision machined aluminum tables (2 in) with four 1 in (25 mm) location pins per table
Limitations
- Each added spindle needs its own dust capacity: Komo recommends 900 cfm per spindle
- Acceleration is 83 in/sec² and Z traverse 600 ipm (15.2 m/min)
- Tools are limited to 5 in (127 mm) in length and 12 lbs each
- Head count and spacing are fixed when the machine is configured, which ties it to a family of parts
- The base machine has one spindle; the multi-head builds are options

Frequently Asked Questions
01
One spindle with 15 tools is standard. Komo states that the maximum tool capacity can be up to six 8 station tool changer heads, 48 tools total, or four 15 station tool changer heads, 60 tools total, configurable based on customer needs. Each head is an 18 hp (13.2 kW) HSK 63F spindle in the standard build.
02
Six. The 1005TT, 1008TT, 1010TT and 1012TT have two tables 60 in wide and 60 in, 96 in, 120 in or 144 in long. The 1605TT and 2005TT have two tables of 96 in x 60 in (2,438 mm x 1,524 mm) and 120 in x 60 in (3,048 mm x 1,524 mm). Every table has four 1 in (25 mm) part location pins.
03
The 1005TT travels 162 in (4,114 mm) x 80 in (2,032 mm) x 15 in (381 mm). The 1008TT, 1010TT and 1012TT share one line in Komo's table: 162 in (4,114 mm) x 164 in (4,166 mm) x 15 in (381 mm). The 1605TT and 2005TT travel 258 in (6,553 mm) x 78 in (1,982 mm) x 15 in (381 mm).
04
Komo describes the Mach III Twin Table as a premier machine with more flexibility, more options and more Z travel than a Fusion Twin Table. Z travel is 15 in (381 mm) here and 11 in (279 mm) on the Fusion Twin Table, and the head count goes well beyond the two spindles of that model.
