How much does the Jainnher H200 CNC Cylindrical Roll Grinder cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Jainnher H200 CNC Cylindrical Roll Grinder that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Jainnher H200 is the largest machine Jainnher lists: a CNC cylindrical roll grinding machine for rolls up to 2,000 mm (78.7 in) in diameter and 40,000 kg (88,183 lb), with 6, 7, 8, 10 or 12 m (19.7, 23.0, 26.2, 32.8 or 39.4 ft) between centers.
At this scale the specification is best read as a list of what has to be true on site. The roll arrives by crane and rests on neck supports sized for 90 ~ 400 mm necks, or 350-700 mm with the optional set. The headstock and tailstock each sit on an air device so they can be slid to suit the roll length, and the tailstock then travels under power at 2,000 mm/min. Its quill has 200 mm (7.9 in) of stroke and a PT#100 center. Coolant is a 2,000 L system, and the wheel head and table run on hydrostatic and dynamic lubrication with a 2 HP lubricating system motor.
Turning 40,000 kg (88,183 lb) smoothly takes torque, not speed. The work head runs at 3 to 30 rpm and its motor is printed as 75 HP (60HPx6P), the same figure as the grind wheel motor. On the H160 the work head motor is printed as 50 HP (40HPx6P).
The smallest diameter the H200 will grind is 250 mm (9.8 in), so it is not a machine for mixed work. Castings for headstock, base and carriage are FC30 to FC35 iron with a cellular rib pattern. Jainnher gives no weight or footprint for the machine, which at this size will be set by the bed length and the foundation design.

- Largest capacity in the range: 2,000 mm (78.7 in) diameter and 40,000 kg (88,183 lb)
- Work head motor printed as 75 HP (60HPx6P) for turning the heaviest rolls
- Headstock and tailstock on air devices, with a powered tailstock at 2,000 mm/min
- Bed lengths from 6 to 12 m (19.7 to 39.4 ft)
- Castings of FC30 to FC35 iron with cellular ribbing
Limitations
- Will not grind below 250 mm (9.8 in) in diameter
- No machine weight, footprint or foundation data is published
- Wheel is the same Ø910 x Ø304.8 x 80 mm size as on the H130
- Work head speed is limited to 3 to 30 rpm

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Up to 2,000 mm (78.7 in) in diameter and 40,000 kg (88,183 lb), with a grinding range starting at 250 mm (9.8 in). The distance between centers is 6, 7, 8, 10 or 12 m (19.7, 23.0, 26.2, 32.8 or 39.4 ft).
02
The grind wheel motor and the work head motor are both printed as 75 HP (60HPx6P) in Jainnher's table. The lubricating system has a 2 HP motor. Jainnher does not explain the bracketed part of the motor entries, so confirm installed ratings and supply requirements with the maker.
03
Jainnher describes an air device on the bottom of both the headstock and the tailstock that makes them easy to move. On the H types the tailstock also has a moving speed of 2,000 mm/min, and its quill stroke is 200 mm (7.9 in).
04
Jainnher publishes no machine weight, dimensions or foundation drawing for the H200. With rolls of up to 40,000 kg (88,183 lb), a bed up to 12 m (39.4 ft) between centers and a 2,000 L coolant system, the foundation, crane and coolant layout need to be planned with the maker from the start.
