How much does the Ibarmia T12 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Ibarmia T12 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Ibarmia T12 is the entry size of the T series, a 5-axis machining center whose envelope is taller than it is wide: 1,600 mm (63.0 in) of part height over a 1,250 mm (49.2 in) maximum swing diameter. That proportion sets it apart from the big end of the range. The T36, for comparison, swings 3,600 mm (141.7 in) but allows only 2,150 mm (84.6 in) of height.
So across the T series diameter shrinks much faster than height. One size up, the T16 widens the swing to 1,600 mm (63.0 in) for a small gain in height, to 1,700 mm (66.9 in). Compact but tall parts, such as casings and upright weldments, are the natural fit for the T12's proportions.
Spindle and tooling limits match those of the larger sizes: up to 84 kW (112.6 hp) and magazines of up to 360 positions. The versions are T Extreme (5-axis milling) and T Multiprocess (5-axis turning and milling), and the head is either the THC (B axis, -15º/+195º) or the THR (A axis, -45º/+135º).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,600 mm (63.0 in) of part height on a machine with a 1,250 mm (49.2 in) swing, 28% more height than diameter
- Up to 84 kW (112.6 hp) of spindle power listed even at the smallest T size
- Magazine options run up to 360 positions
- Two head designs: THC on a B axis and THR on an A axis
Limitations
- Swing diameter is limited to 1,250 mm (49.2 in); the T16 takes 1,600 mm (63.0 in)
- No table size or load figure is given for the T12, so fixture planning needs data from Ibarmia
- Power and magazine capacity are quoted as maximums, with no base configuration stated

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Parts up to 1,250 mm (49.2 in) in swing diameter and 1,600 mm (63.0 in) in height. The height figure is the larger of the two, so the envelope is an upright cylinder. Work that is wider than 1,250 mm belongs on the T16 or above.
02
The T16 raises the maximum swing diameter from 1,250 mm (49.2 in) to 1,600 mm (63.0 in) and the part height from 1,600 mm (63.0 in) to 1,700 mm (66.9 in). Both carry the same listed limits of up to 84 kW (112.6 hp) and up to 360 magazine positions, and both come as Extreme and Multiprocess.
03
Either, depending on the version. T Extreme is listed for 5-axis milling. T Multiprocess is listed for 5-axis turning and milling. The envelope of 1,250 mm (49.2 in) by 1,600 mm (63.0 in) is stated once and is not split between the two.
