Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Ibarmia P36 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At 3,600 mm (141.7 in) of swing diameter and 2,150 mm (84.6 in) of part height, the Ibarmia P36 has the largest work envelope of the P26, P30 and P36. It is a 5-axis machining center sold as P Extreme, for milling, or as P Multiprocess, where turning joins the 5-axis milling.
The step up from the next size down is easy to put in numbers: the P30 stops at 3,000 mm (118.1 in) of swing and 1,950 mm (76.8 in) of height. Nothing else in the table changes with size. Every P model shows a spindle ceiling of 84 kW (112.6 hp) and magazines of up to 360 positions, so the bigger frame buys room, not extra power.
On a part near the 3,600 mm limit most of the cutting happens far from the centre, and on the Multiprocess version that whole diameter is being turned. Ask for the spindle's torque curve and for the table's speed and load ratings before judging the fit, because the table gives none of them. The head is a choice between the THC with its -15º/+195º B axis and the THR with a -45º/+135º A axis.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Largest of the three P sizes: 3,600 mm (141.7 in) swing diameter and 2,150 mm (84.6 in) part height
- Keeps the P-series maximums of 84 kW (112.6 hp) spindle power and 360 magazine positions at the biggest envelope
- Offered as P Multiprocess, so a 3,600 mm (141.7 in) part can be turned and 5-axis milled on the same machine
Limitations
- Listed power does not grow with the envelope: the P36 and the P26 both show up to 84 kW (112.6 hp)
- The table carries no table load or rotary table speed, which matter most at a 3,600 mm (141.7 in) swing
- A magazine of 360 positions is the upper limit of the range, not a stated standard

Frequently Asked Questions
01
A swing diameter of 3,600 mm (141.7 in) and a part height of 2,150 mm (84.6 in). Both are the largest in the P series: the P30 lists 3,000 mm (118.1 in) and 1,950 mm (76.8 in). The table does not give a weight limit, so mass has to be cleared with Ibarmia separately.
02
Not according to the table. The P36 shows up to 84 kW (112.6 hp), the same figure that appears for the P26 and the P30. Magazine capacity is also the same, at up to 360 positions. What the P36 adds is envelope.
03
Specify the P Multiprocess version, since P Extreme is listed for 5-axis milling only. Then ask for the turning table's load and speed ratings, which the table omits, and for the spindle actually quoted, because 84 kW (112.6 hp) is given as an upper limit.
