Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Ibarmia T22 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Ibarmia T22 is a 5-axis machining center whose two versions come with different tables. T Extreme, the milling version, has a 1,250 x 1,250 mm (49.2 x 49.2 in) table. T Multiprocess, which turns and mills, has a rotary table of ø1,600 mm (63.0 in). Either way the envelope is a 2,200 mm (86.6 in) maximum swing diameter with 1,750 mm (68.9 in) of part height.
The gap between table and swing deserves attention. A 2,200 mm swing over a 1,250 mm square table, or over a ø1,600 mm rotary table, means the largest parts overhang the table edge. Fixtures for those parts have to carry the overhang, and clamping points should be planned from the table dimensions, not from the swing.
The T30 above it keeps one side of the Extreme table at 1,250 mm and stretches the other, to 1,250 x 1,600 mm (49.2 x 63.0 in), under a 3,000 mm (118.1 in) swing. On the T22 the spindle is listed up to 84 kW (112.6 hp), magazines up to 360 positions, and the heads are the THC (B axis, -15º/+195º) and the THR (A axis, -45º/+135º).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Table figures are published for both versions: 1,250 x 1,250 mm (49.2 x 49.2 in) on Extreme, ø1,600 mm (63.0 in) rotary table on Multiprocess
- 2,200 mm (86.6 in) maximum swing diameter and 1,750 mm (68.9 in) part height
- The Multiprocess rotary table is larger than the Extreme table is wide, 1,600 mm against 1,250 mm, which helps when chucking large turned parts
- Up to 84 kW (112.6 hp) spindle power and up to 360 magazine positions
Limitations
- The Extreme table is 1,250 mm (49.2 in) square under a 2,200 mm (86.6 in) swing, so the biggest parts overhang it
- No table load is listed for either version
- Height capacity of 1,750 mm (68.9 in) is only slightly above the 1,700 mm (66.9 in) of the smaller T16

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It depends on the version. The T Extreme, for 5-axis milling, lists a 1,250 x 1,250 mm (49.2 x 49.2 in) table. The T Multiprocess, for 5-axis turning and milling, lists a rotary table of ø1,600 mm (63.0 in). Neither row comes with a load rating.
02
The maximum swing diameter is 2,200 mm (86.6 in), which is larger than both the 1,250 mm (49.2 in) Extreme table and the ø1,600 mm (63.0 in) Multiprocess rotary table. So the envelope allows it, but the part will overhang and the fixture must support it. Height is limited to 1,750 mm (68.9 in).
03
Both list 1,750 mm (68.9 in) of part height. The P26, from the P series, has the larger swing at 2,600 mm (102.4 in) against the T22's 2,200 mm (86.6 in). Spindle power, up to 84 kW (112.6 hp), and magazine capacity, up to 360 positions, read the same on both.
