How much does the HNK HPM-20H (20x60) cost?

Price estimate

Uncertain

We do not have a price for the HNK HPM-20H (20x60) that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.

HNK HPM-20H (20x60) — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the HNK HPM-20H (20x60) that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from HNK or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

Six metres long and two wide, the table of the HNK HPM-20H (20x60) is the most elongated in the die and mold series. It measures 2,000 x 6,000 mm (78.7 x 236.2 in) and travels 6,250 mm (246.1 in) in X.

Three other HPM-H sizes share that X stroke, the 25x60, 30x60 and 35x60, each on a wider table. This one is for work that is long but not broad: side-member and roof-rail dies, long-bed molds, machine slideways and beams. Because the bridge is only 2,700 mm (106.3 in) between columns, the crossrail span is short for the length of the machine, which favours stiffness.

Vertical capacity is unchanged from the HPM-20H (20x40). The crossrail has 1,200 mm (47.2 in) of W, the ram 800 mm (31.5 in) of Z, and up to 1,800 mm (70.9 in) separates table and spindle end, 2,000 mm (78.7 in) in braces.

Watch the load. HNK gives 15,000 kg (33,069 lb) for both lengths, so the longer table is not rated for a heavier die. The spindle is ISO No.50 at 6,000 rpm, 8,000 rpm in braces, with 22/25 kW (29.5/33.5 hp), cont/30min.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 6,250 mm (246.1 in) of X travel on the narrowest table that offers it
  • Short 2,700 mm (106.3 in) column spacing for a six-metre machine
  • Y travel of 3,700 mm (145.7 in)
  • 6,000 rpm spindle, 8,000 rpm in braces

Limitations

  • 15,000 kg (33,069 lb) table load is no higher than on the 20x40
  • Table width of 2,000 mm (78.7 in) excludes wide body dies
  • Z travel of 800 mm (31.5 in)

Best For

Roof-rail and side-member dies Long machine beds, slideways and beams Several small molds in a row on one table

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the X travel of the HPM-20H (20x60)?

6,250 mm (246.1 in), over a table 6,000 mm (236.2 in) long. Y travel is 3,700 mm (145.7 in) and ram travel 800 mm (31.5 in), with a further 1,200 mm (47.2 in) on the crossrail.

02 Why pick the HPM-20H (20x60) instead of the HPM-25H (25x60)?

For narrow work. The HPM-25H (25x60) has a 2,500 mm wide table, 3,200 mm (126.0 in) between columns and 20,000 kg (44,092 lb) of load, on the same 6,250 mm X. If parts never exceed 2,000 mm in width, the HPM-20H is the smaller bridge.

03 How heavy a die can the HPM-20H (20x60) take?

The maximum allowable weight on the table is 15,000 kg (33,069 lb). The row is starred, and HNK states that starred items can be changed according to the customer's requirements.

04 What ram does the HPM-20H (20x60) use?

A 380 x 380 mm (15.0 x 15.0 in) ram carrying a Ø100 mm (3.9 in) spindle with ISO No.50 taper. From the HPM-30H upward the ram section is 400 x 400 mm (15.7 x 15.7 in).
