Price estimate
We do not have a price for the HNK HPF-15H (15x30) that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The HNK HPF-15H (15x30) is a double column machining center with a fixed crossrail, a 1,500 x 3,000 mm (59.1 x 118.1 in) table and a 6,000 rpm spindle. It is the smallest model in the HPF-H series, which HNK offers for LCD chambers and for die and mold work.
Fixing the crossrail removes an axis and a set of clamps from the structure. The bridge is a single rigid portal, and all vertical movement comes from the ram, which travels 800 mm (31.5 in). The trade-off is daylight: the maximum distance between table surface and spindle end is 1,000 mm (39.4 in). Anything taller than that, with its fixture and the tool, does not fit.
For plates, low mold inserts and flat structural parts this is no handicap. Travels are 3,250 mm (128.0 in) in X and 3,200 mm (126.0 in) in Y, across columns 2,200 mm (86.6 in) apart, and the table holds 10,000 kg (22,046 lb).
The spindle is Ø100 mm (3.9 in) with an ISO No.50 taper in a 380 x 380 mm (15.0 x 15.0 in) ram, driven by 22/25 kW (29.5/33.5 hp), cont/30min. Fanuc 31i-B and Siemens 840D are the listed controls.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Fixed crossrail for a simple, rigid portal
- 6,000 rpm ISO No.50 spindle
- Y travel of 3,200 mm (126.0 in) over a 1,500 mm (59.1 in) wide table
- 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) table load
Limitations
- At most 1,000 mm (39.4 in) between table and spindle end
- No W-axis, so working height cannot be adjusted
- No 8,000 rpm figure in braces, unlike the HPM-15H

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The crossrail is bolted at one height on the columns and does not move. The table lists no W-axis. Vertical travel is the 800 mm (31.5 in) of the ram, and the maximum distance from table surface to spindle end is 1,000 mm (39.4 in).
02
6,000 rpm, with an ISO No.50 taper and 22/25 kW (29.5/33.5 hp), cont/30min. HNK describes the series as a crossrail-fixed double column machining center with high spindle rpm.
03
Table, load, spindle and motor match. The HPM-15H adds a crossrail W-axis of 1,000 mm (39.4 in) and lists 1,500 mm (59.1 in) from table to spindle end, with 8,000 rpm in braces after its 6,000 rpm.
04
The table is 1,500 x 3,000 mm (59.1 x 118.1 in) and the maximum allowable weight 10,000 kg (22,046 lb). X travel is 3,250 mm (128.0 in).
