Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Hartford HCMC-2110 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Hartford HCMC-2110 is a 50-taper box-guideway vertical machining center with 2,100 mm (82.7 in) of X travel, 820 mm (32.3 in) of Y and 820 mm (32.3 in) of Z. Its table, 2,250 x 1,020 mm (88.6 x 40.2 in), is deeper than the Y stroke and carries 3,000 kg (6,614 lb).
That last detail deserves attention. The table is 1,020 mm deep but the spindle travels 820 mm across it, so a strip along the front or back edge cannot be reached. The extra depth is there to support and clamp wide workpieces, not to machine their full width in one setup. Anyone who needs a full 1,020 mm (40.2 in) of Y should look at the HCMC-3110.
Unlike the HCMC-2082, this model has 820 mm of Z as its only listed stroke, with no shorter standard version. Spindles are the gear head at 4,000 / 6,000 / 8,000 rpm and the DDS at 10,000 / 12,000 rpm. The motor is 11 / 15 kW, with 15 / 18.5 kW and 22 / 26 kW as options (Cont. / 30 min).
The magazine entry differs slightly as well: A: 24 (32 / 40), without the 30-tool version listed on smaller HCMC machines. Structure and claims are shared with the line, including the one-piece spindle housing, a counterweighted Z axis, dual chip screws in the base and Air Suspension on the box ways.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Table of 2,250 x 1,020 mm (88.6 x 40.2 in) rated for 3,000 kg (6,614 lb)
- 820 mm (32.3 in) of Z travel as the listed stroke
- 2,100 mm (82.7 in) of X travel on box guideways
- Gear head with a 4,000 rpm range and motors up to 22 / 26 kW (Cont. / 30 min)
- Arm-type magazine with 24 tools, or 32 or 40
Limitations
- Y travel of 820 mm (32.3 in) is less than the 1,020 mm table depth
- Top spindle speed is 12,000 rpm, and only with the DDS head
- X travel is barely longer than the HCMC-2082's 2,060 mm (81.1 in); the gain is in table depth and load
- No rapid traverse figures on the product page

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table is 2,250 x 1,020 mm (88.6 x 40.2 in) while Y travel is 820 mm (32.3 in). The deeper table gives more clamping and support area for wide parts, but the spindle cannot cover the full table depth in one setup.
02
X is 2,100 mm (82.7 in), Y is 820 mm (32.3 in) and Z is 820 mm (32.3 in). The average table load is 3,000 kg (6,614 lb).
03
A #50 gear-head spindle at 4,000 / 6,000 / 8,000 rpm and a #50 DDS spindle at 10,000 / 12,000 rpm. The motor is 11 / 15 kW as standard, with 15 / 18.5 kW and 22 / 26 kW optional, all continuous / 30 min ratings.
04
The HCMC-3110 has 3,100 mm (122.0 in) of X travel, a full 1,020 mm (40.2 in) of Y and a 4,000 kg (8,818 lb) table. Its gear head is listed at 4,000 / 6,000 rpm only. The HCMC-2110 is the shorter machine and keeps the 8,000 rpm gear range.
