Feeler SVW-2113 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Feeler SVW-2113 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Feeler or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training

Overview

The Feeler SVW-2113 is the smallest of the SVW gantry multi-face machining centers: 2,100 mm (82.7 in) of X travel over a 2,000 × 1,100 mm (78.7 × 43.3 in) table rated for 4 ton. It is also the quickest. Rapid traverse is 24 m/min (945 ipm) on X and Y and 20 m/min (787 ipm) on Z, figures no wider SVW table matches.

Feeler sells the series on heavy cutting. The structure is box-type with reinforced ribs, and the spindle is driven through a fully geared internal transmission with a two-speed gearbox, giving high torque at low speed. The standard spindle is listed at 6,000 rpm with a 50 taper in BT, DIN or CAT form. In brackets the table shows 8,000-15,000 rpm and #40, the lighter and faster alternative.

On a machine this size the 4 ton limit deserves a second look. It is half the 8 ton of the SVW-2217, whose table is the same length and only wider. A thick steel block the size of the table would exceed it, so the SVW-2113 suits plates, frames, fabrications and mould plates more than solid billets.

Z travel is 800 mm (31.5 in), with 1,000 mm (39.4 in) bracketed. The magazine holds 24 tools, or 32 or 40 as alternatives. Y travel is not given here; the cross travel and the clearance between the columns should be taken from the maker's drawing.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 24 m/min (945 ipm) rapids on X and Y, the fastest in the SVW series
  • Geared two-speed spindle for high torque at low speed
  • Choice of 50 taper at 6,000 rpm or the bracketed #40 at 8,000-15,000 rpm
  • Table supported over its full travel, with no overhang

Limitations

  • Table load is 4 ton, the lowest in the series
  • Table width of 1,100 mm (43.3 in) limits wide plates
  • Magazine options stop at 40 tools
  • No spindle power, torque or machine weight on the series page

Best For

Plates and frames up to 2,000 × 1,100 mm Multi-face machining with the optional attachment changer Mould plates and die sets within 4 ton

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How big is the table on the Feeler SVW-2113?

2,000 mm long and 1,100 mm wide (78.7 × 43.3 in), with a maximum load of 4 ton. X travel is 2,100 mm (82.7 in), slightly longer than the table.

02 How fast are the axes?

24 m/min (945 ipm) on X, 24 m/min on Y and 20 m/min (787 ipm) on Z. From the SVW-2217 upward every axis is listed at 15 m/min (591 ipm) or less.

03 Which spindle options are listed?

The spindle-speed row reads 6,000 (8,000-15,000) rpm and the taper row BT/DIN/CAT 50 (#40). The 50 taper at 6,000 rpm is the standard geared spindle; the bracketed values are alternatives. Power and torque are not given.

04 Is the Y travel published?

The Y-axis figure is not listed on this page. Ask the maker for the Y stroke and the distance between the columns before planning parts close to the 1,100 mm table width.
