Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Durma PBF 2560 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Sixty ton over 2,550 mm (100.4 in) puts the Durma PBF 2560 in the light general-purpose class of hydraulic press brakes. It bends 2,500 mm sheet with a little room to spare, passes 2,150 mm (84.6 in) between its columns and needs only a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) motor, the same rating as the much shorter PBF 1030.
That small motor explains the speeds. Rapid approach is 120 mm/sec and working speed 9 mm/sec. The return, at 70 mm/sec, is the slowest in the PBF table, so on parts with many bends the cycle is paced by the beam and not by the operator. For a shop making short runs that is a fair exchange. For three-shift volume it is worth timing a sample part first.
Open height is the tightest of the series: 350 mm (13.8 in) of daylight with a 160 mm (6.3 in) stroke. Tall punches and deep box sides quickly use that up. The throat is 250 mm (9.8 in) deep, and the table sits at 813 mm (32.0 in).
Crowning is handled differently on this model. Durma's equipment list makes the manual crowning system standard on the three larger machines and an option on the PBF 2560; CNC controlled motorized crowning is optional too. Without either, long bends in thicker sheet may need shimming. The servo back gauge has 620 mm (24.4 in) of X travel at 250 mm/sec, and the standard control is the DT 10. The machine weighs 4,250 kg (9,369 lb).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Bends 2,550 mm (100.4 in) with 2,150 mm (84.6 in) between columns
- Runs on a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) motor
- Back gauge X travel of 620 mm (24.4 in) at 250 mm/sec
- Light and narrow: 4,250 kg (9,369 lb) and 1,200 mm (47.2 in) wide
- European type tool clamping and sliding front support arms are standard
Limitations
- Return speed is 70 mm/sec, the lowest of the PBF series
- Daylight is 350 mm (13.8 in), less than on any other PBF model
- Manual crowning is an option here, where the PBF 30120 has it as standard
- The standard front safety system is listed as Non-CE
