LVD Easy-Form 80/20 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the LVD Easy-Form 80/20 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from LVD or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

Two metres of bed, 800 kN and in-process angle measurement: the LVD Easy-Form 80/20 is the middle of the three small Easy-Form machines and the one that fits most light sheet-metal parts without wasting floor.

Its working length is 2,000 mm (78.7 in), with 1,550 mm (61.0 in) between the uprights. The machine weighs 6,000 kg (13,228 lb). Hydraulics and ram are common to the 800 kN group, so the table shows the same 15 kW motor, 125 L tank and 290 bar as its shorter and longer neighbours, and the same speeds: 160 mm/s approach, 22 mm/s working, 200 mm/s return.

A comparison inside LVD's own range shows what the Easy-Form badge buys. The PPED 50/20 is also a two-metre machine, and it works at 9 mm/s and returns at 95 mm/s. The Easy-Form works at 22 mm/s and returns at 200 mm/s, and adds the laser system that corrects each bend while it is made. For a shop paid by the part, cycle time and first-part accuracy are the argument.

The table is 120 mm (4.7 in) wide and rated at 2,000 kN/m, twice the rating LVD gives the PPED tables. Working height is 970 mm (38.2 in). Backgauges run from a basic two-axis unit to a full multi-axis system.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 2,000 mm (78.7 in) working length at 6,000 kg (13,228 lb)
  • Works at 22 mm/s, against 9 mm/s on the PPED 50/20
  • Table rated at 2,000 kN/m
  • Adaptive bending with Easy-Form Laser as standard
  • Backgauge choice from two axes to a full multi-axis system

Limitations

  • 1,550 mm (61.0 in) between uprights limits what passes through the frame
  • Stroke of 200 mm (7.9 in) in the listed configuration
  • No force option between 800 kN and the three-metre Easy-Form 110/30 with 1,100 kN
  • Robot interface and hemming table cost extra

Best For

Light sheet parts up to 2,000 mm in mixed batches Shops where the first part must be a good part Short-cycle bending of covers and brackets Replacing an older two-metre brake with a faster one

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How fast is the Easy-Form 80/20?

Approach 160 mm/s, working speed 22 mm/s, return 200 mm/s. LVD notes that the approach figure applies in CE countries only with an optional safety system and that working speed there is limited by safety norms.

02 What is the difference to the Easy-Form 80/25?

Length and mass only. The Easy-Form 80/25 has a 2,500 mm working length, 2,050 mm between uprights and weighs 6,500 kg. Force, pressure, motor, tank, speeds, stroke and opening are identical in LVD's table.

03 How does the laser system know the angle?

According to LVD, scanners constantly measure the bend angle and transmit it in real time to the CNC control, which immediately adjusts the punch position. The system compensates for variations in sheet thickness, strain hardening and grain direction.

04 What load can the table take?

2,000 kN/m on a table 120 mm (4.7 in) wide. Total pressing force is 800 kN, so the table rating is not the limit on this machine; the force is.
