Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Durma AD-EB 30135 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At 135 ton and 3,050 mm (120.1 in), the Durma AD-EB 30135 is the largest electric press brake Durma lists, and the top of its belt-driven AD-EB series. A three-metre, 135 ton machine is the size most general fabrication shops buy in hydraulic form. This one does the same job without hydraulic oil.
Force reaches the beam through a belt system and pulley tackle driven by a coupled motor and reducer. Durma builds the body by bolting it together and machining it on precision tables. The columns stand 3,340 mm (131.5 in) apart, outside the bending length, which leaves the full 3,050 mm open for parts with deep flanges.
Speeds are 100 mm/s in approach and in return. Is the bending speed of 10-20 mm/s usable? Durma's note is specific: the CE norm sets a maximum of 10 mm/sec except for robot-aided use, so a manually fed machine works at the lower end of the range. Stroke is 320 mm (12.6 in) and daylight 500 mm (19.7 in), at a working height of 1,085 mm (42.7 in).
The back gauge has 650 mm (25.6 in) of X travel and 250 mm (9.8 in) of R travel, both under the standard DA-66S control together with Y1 and Y2. Z1 and Z2 can be motorized as an option. Floor space is 4,200 mm (165.4 in) by 2,200 mm (86.6 in), height is 2,550 mm (100.4 in) and weight 7,300 kg (16,093 lb).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 135 ton over 3,050 mm (120.1 in) from an oil-free electric drive
- 3,340 mm (131.5 in) between columns, so full-length parts are not limited by the side frames
- 500 mm (19.7 in) daylight with a 320 mm (12.6 in) stroke
- Standard DA-66S control with Y1, Y2, X and R axes
- Weighs 7,300 kg (16,093 lb) for a three-metre machine
Limitations
- The CE norm caps bending speed at 10 mm/sec unless the machine is robot-fed
- Approach and return are 100 mm/s, slightly below the 105 mm/s of the AD-EB 2580
- 135 ton is the ceiling of the series; heavier work needs a hydraulic or hybrid machine
- Standard back gauge X travel is 650 mm (25.6 in); 1000 mm is an option

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Bending force is 135 ton and bending length 3,050 mm (120.1 in). Stroke is 320 mm (12.6 in), daylight 500 mm (19.7 in), and the distance between columns is 3,340 mm (131.5 in).
02
No. Durma lists a hydraulic oil-free drive system made up of a coupled motor and reducer and a belt system with pulley tackle. The reducer drive and high torque-resistant bearings are credited with the bending precision.
03
As standard, a servo motor back gauge on linear guides and a ballscrew with X and R axes: 650 mm (25.6 in) of X travel and 250 mm (9.8 in) of R travel. Options are motorized Z1 and Z2 axes, a Delta X axis with +/- 125 mm stroke, and an X axis of 1000 mm with light barrier back protection.
04
Length is 4,200 mm (165.4 in), width 2,200 mm (86.6 in) and height 2,550 mm (100.4 in). The table gives a weight of 7,300 kg (16,093 lb) and a working height of 1,085 mm (42.7 in).
