Durma AD-S 30220 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Durma AD-S 30220 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Durma or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Durma AD-S 30220 delivers 220 ton across 3,050 mm (120.1 in). In the AD-S hydraulic press brake series, 220 ton is the force Durma offers on the most bed lengths, from three metres to six, and this is the shortest and stiffest of those machines.

Its speed profile is unusual for the series. Rapid and return are both 140 mm/sec, so the beam goes up as fast as it comes down. Most smaller models approach faster than they return. For plate work, where the stroke used per bend is long, a quick return shortens the cycle more than a quick approach does.

Behind that is a 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor and a 250 L oil tank. Bending speed is 10 mm/sec.

The frame is taller than on the lighter three-metre models, 3,000 mm (118.1 in), so check the building height and the crane hook before delivery. Weight is 12,600 kg (27,778 lb). The opening itself is unchanged, with 265 mm (10.4 in) of stroke and 530 mm (20.9 in) of daylight. If the tooling is tall or the parts are deep, the AD-S 30320 is the model with more room, at 630 mm (24.8 in) of daylight.

Table width is 104 mm (4.1 in) or 240 mm (9.4 in). The throat is 450 mm (17.7 in) deep and the columns are 2,600 mm (102.4 in) apart. The DT 15 control and a servo X back gauge are standard, and hydraulic or pneumatic tool clamping is optional, which is worth pricing in when heavy punches are changed often.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 220 ton on a 3,050 mm (120.1 in) bed
  • Return speed of 140 mm/sec, equal to the rapid speed
  • 22 kW (29.5 hp) motor and a 250 L oil tank
  • Wide table option of 240 mm (9.4 in)
  • 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the columns with a 450 mm (17.7 in) throat

Limitations

  • Rapid speed drops to 140 mm/sec, from 160 mm/sec on the AD-S 30175
  • Daylight is 530 mm (20.9 in), less than the AD-S 30320 offers
  • Machine height of 3,000 mm (118.1 in)
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic tool clamping are options

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What force and length does the AD-S 30220 offer?

Bending force is 220 ton and bending length 3,050 mm (120.1 in). Durma builds the same force on longer beds as well; the AD-S 40220 has a 4,050 mm (159.4 in) bending length.

02 What are the Y axis speeds of the AD-S 30220?

The table lists 140 mm/sec for rapid, 10 mm/sec for working and 140 mm/sec for return. Y axis precision is 0.01 mm. The back gauge's X axis is listed at 500 mm/sec.

03 Will the AD-S 30220 fit under a low roof?

The machine is 3,000 mm (118.1 in) high, 4,250 mm (167.3 in) long and 1,770 mm (69.7 in) wide. Allow for lifting gear above that height during installation. Weight is approximately 12,600 kg (27,778 lb).

04 When is the AD-S 30320 the better choice?

When the opening matters as much as the force. The AD-S 30320 has a 365 mm (14.4 in) stroke and a narrow table of 154 mm (6.1 in), and it applies 320 ton. The AD-S 30220 is the lighter machine at 12,600 kg (27,778 lb).
