LVD PPEB 110/30 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the LVD PPEB 110/30 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from LVD or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The LVD PPEB 110/30 is the lightest three-metre PPEB: 1,100 kN on a 3,050 mm (120.1 in) working length, driven by a 15 kW motor.

Its hydraulic pressure is listed at 245 bar. The 1,350 kN machine on the same frame, the PPEB 135/30, runs at 290 bar and is otherwise almost a copy: the same 9,500 kg, the same motor and the same 250 L tank. Where they part is working speed. This model bends at 12 mm/s and the PPEB 135/30 at 15 mm/s, which means the stronger machine is also the faster in the bend.

On those numbers the 110/30 is hard to prefer unless the quotation says otherwise. It is worth asking LVD what separates the two in practice.

The ram approaches at 130 mm/s and returns at 115 mm/s. The frame gives 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between the uprights with a 400 mm (15.7 in) gap, a 200 mm (7.9 in) stroke and 400 mm of open height. Table width is 120 mm (4.7 in), rated at 2,000 kN/m. The machine weighs 9,500 kg (20,944 lb).

A one-piece welded frame carries all of this. LVD states that PPEB frames up to 400 ton/4m can be installed at floor level, which covers this machine and keeps the foundation simple.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 3,050 mm (120.1 in) working length with a 15 kW motor
  • One-piece welded frame installed at floor level
  • Machine weight of 9,500 kg (20,944 lb)
  • 400 mm (15.7 in) gap and 2,000 kN/m table
  • Configurable with a 2-, 5- or 6-axis backgauge

Limitations

  • 12 mm/s working speed, below the 15 mm/s of the PPEB 135/30
  • 1,100 kN is the lowest force on this frame
  • Return speed of 115 mm/s slows each cycle
  • 2,600 mm (102.4 in) between uprights

Best For

Thin three-metre panels at moderate rates Light-gauge stainless and aluminium work Sites that need a floor-level installation

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What is the difference between the PPEB 110/30 and the PPEB 135/30?

The PPEB 135/30 has 1,350 kN at 290 bar and works at 15 mm/s. This model has 1,100 kN at 245 bar and works at 12 mm/s. Weight, motor, tank, bed and frame opening are the same in LVD's table.

02 Does it need a pit?

No. LVD says that for PPEB machines up to 400 ton/4m the one-piece welded frame can be installed at floor level, and this machine is well inside that limit.

03 How does it compare with the Easy-Form 110/30?

The Easy-Form 110/30 has a 22 kW motor, a 180 mm/s approach and a 22 mm/s working speed, with laser angle measurement as standard. The PPEB lists 15 kW, 130 mm/s and 12 mm/s at the same 9,500 kg.

04 What control does it use?

The 19-inch Touch-B touch screen, which LVD describes as easy to understand and simple to use, with the CADMAN software suite for offline programming and job tracking.
