Durma AD-S 1260 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Durma AD-S 1260 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Durma or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Durma AD-S 1260 is the smallest hydraulic press brake in the AD-S series: 60 ton on a bending length of 1,250 mm (49.2 in). It is a short-bed machine for small parts, and its frame is scaled down to match.

That shows in the open-height figures. Stroke is 160 mm (6.3 in), daylight 400 mm (15.7 in) and throat depth 350 mm (13.8 in), all lower than on any other model in the AD-S table. Ordinary punches and dies fit without trouble, but deep boxes and tall return flanges run out of room sooner here than on the AD-S 2060, which has a 265 mm (10.4 in) stroke at the same force.

The beam is quick. Rapid speed is 200 mm/sec, working speed 10 mm/sec and return 110 mm/sec, from a 7.5 kW (10.1 hp) motor and a 100 L oil tank. On brackets, clips and small enclosures bent in high counts, approach and return take up most of each cycle, so these figures matter more than tonnage.

There is 1,050 mm (41.3 in) between the columns. The machine is 2,300 mm (90.6 in) long, 1,550 mm (61.0 in) wide and weighs 4,700 kg (10,362 lb), which lets it stand beside a larger brake as a second station. Standard equipment is the DT 15 control with Y1, Y2 and X axes, a servo back gauge on ballscrew and linear guides, manual crowning and European style tool clamping. X travel is 650 mm (25.6 in). An R axis and Z fingers are options; the Z working distance is then 490 mm (19.3 in).

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 200 mm/sec rapid speed, the highest Y speed in the AD-S table
  • Small footprint: 2,300 mm (90.6 in) long, 1,550 mm (61.0 in) wide, 4,700 kg (10,362 lb)
  • Y axis precision of 0.01 mm from linear scales
  • Servo back gauge with ballscrew and linear guides as standard
  • Height of only 2,350 mm (92.5 in), the lowest in the series

Limitations

  • Stroke of 160 mm (6.3 in) and daylight of 400 mm (15.7 in) limit box depth and tool height
  • 350 mm (13.8 in) throat, where the AD-S 2060 has 450 mm (17.7 in)
  • Only 1,050 mm (41.3 in) between the columns
  • R axis, Z fingers and CNC crowning are optional equipment

Best For

Brackets, clips and tabs bent in high counts Parts shorter than 1,250 mm (49.2 in) needing up to 60 ton A second station beside a long-bed press brake Small bending cells, with robot integration as an option

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How big a part can the AD-S 1260 bend?

The bed takes bends up to 1,250 mm (49.2 in) long at 60 ton. Parts with flanges deeper than the 350 mm (13.8 in) throat have to pass between the columns, which stand 1,050 mm (41.3 in) apart.

02 Why is the AD-S 1260 different from the other 60 ton model?

The AD-S 2060 has the same force on a 2,050 mm (80.7 in) bed with a larger frame opening. The AD-S 1260 trades that for size: its stroke is 160 mm (6.3 in), its daylight 400 mm (15.7 in), and it weighs 4,700 kg (10,362 lb).

03 How fast does the AD-S 1260 cycle?

Durma lists a Y rapid speed of 200 mm/sec, a working speed of 10 mm/sec and a return speed of 110 mm/sec. The X axis of the back gauge moves at 500 mm/sec with a precision of 0.05 mm.

04 Which control does the AD-S 1260 use?

The DT 15 control unit is standard and drives Y1, Y2 and X. Durma lists the SKY 22, DA-66S and DA-69S as optional control units, along with back gauge packages that add motorized R and Z axes.
