How much does the Dener TTH-12 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Dener TTH-12 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Dener TTH-12 is the largest lathe Dener lists: a 12 inch (305 mm) chuck, a 118 mm (4.6 in) spindle bore and a bar capacity of 95 mm (3.7 in). Spindle speed tops out at 2,450 rpm.
This is a big-bore machine first. The through-hole is more than twice that of the TTC-6 at the other end of the range, and it suits pipe, couplings, thick tube and large bar. Oilfield-style connectors, hydraulic cylinder parts and heavy flanges are the kind of work that fills a 12 inch chuck.
The frame is the TTH one, with a 650 mm (25.6 in) swing, but the usable envelope is a little smaller than on the TTH-10. Maximum turning diameter is 488 mm (19.2 in) and machining length 614 mm (24.2 in). The larger chuck and turret clearances take their share.
Spindle motor power is printed as 15/20.4 kW. At 2,450 rpm, surface speed on small diameters will be limited, so the machine is not the one for small bar parts. On the diameters a chuck of this size normally holds, the speed range is appropriate.
Rapid traverse is 30/30 m/min and the cutting feed rate 1~10 m/min. The standard equipment list includes a chip conveyor and an automatic coolant system, both of which matter when heavy steel cuts produce chips in volume.

- 118 mm (4.6 in) spindle bore, the largest in the range
- Bar capacity of 95 mm (3.7 in)
- 12 inch (305 mm) chuck on the TTH frame
- Spindle motor power printed as 15/20.4 kW
- Chip conveyor and automatic coolant system are standard
Limitations
- Spindle speed of 2,450 rpm, the lowest in the range
- Turning diameter of 488 mm (19.2 in) is below the TTH-10
- Machining length of 614 mm (24.2 in) is shorter than on the TTH-8 and TTH-10
- Programmable tailstock is optional equipment

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The spindle bore diameter is 118 mm (4.6 in) and the bar capacity is 95 mm (3.7 in). Both are the largest figures in Dener's TTC and TTH lathe tables.
02
Swing diameter 650 mm (25.6 in), maximum turning diameter 488 mm (19.2 in) and machining length 614 mm (24.2 in). The TTH-10 on the same swing lists 528 mm (20.8 in) and 660 mm (26 in).
03
The spindle speed is 2,450 rpm and the spindle motor power is printed as 15/20.4 kW. The table gives no torque figure, and it does not say which rating each power value represents.
04
For the series Dener lists FANUC 0İ TFP, roller linear guideways, a BMT / slot-type turret, a fully enclosed cabin, a chip conveyor, automatic lubrication and coolant systems and an oil and water separator unit.
