How much does the Dener TTC-8 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Dener TTC-8 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
An 8 inch (203 mm) chuck on the compact TTC frame: the Dener TTC-8 keeps the 560 mm (22 in) swing and 305 mm (12 in) turning diameter of the smaller TTC model and fits a larger spindle.
The spindle bore grows to 66 mm (2.6 in) and bar capacity to 52 mm (2 in). Spindle speed is 4,500 rpm. That is the usual trade when a chuck gets bigger, and it moves the machine from small fittings toward general chucking work in steel: gear blanks, hubs, flanges and couplings.
Machining length is 406 mm (16 in), a little less than the TTC-6 offers, since the larger chuck takes up room in Z. Spindle motor power is printed as 11/20.4 kW, the same row as on the TTC-6.
How does it sit against the TTH-8, which also carries an 8 inch chuck? The TTH-8 is the larger machine around the same spindle, with a turning diameter of 528 mm (20.8 in) and a machining length of 680 mm (26.8 in). If the parts fit inside 305 mm by 406 mm, the TTC-8 does the job on the smaller frame.
Dener lists a powerful BMT / slot-type turret, a fully enclosed cabin and a chip conveyor as standard. A programmable tailstock, a part catcher and an automatic bar feeder unit are optional equipment, as is the Mitsubishi M80A-8A control in place of the standard FANUC 0İ TFP.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
An 8 inch (203 mm) chuck, 4,500 rpm, a maximum turning diameter of 305 mm (12 in), a machining length of 406 mm (16 in), a 66 mm (2.6 in) spindle bore and 52 mm (2 in) of bar capacity.
02
Both have an 8 inch chuck and 4,500 rpm. The TTH-8 has a 650 mm (25.6 in) swing, turns 528 mm (20.8 in) in diameter over 680 mm (26.8 in) of length and lists 15/24.2 kW of spindle motor power. The TTC-8 is the choice when parts stay within its smaller envelope.
03
Dener lists FANUC 0İ TFP, roller linear guideways, C1–C3 precision ball screws, a BMT / slot-type turret, a fully enclosed cabin, a chip conveyor, automatic lubrication and coolant systems and a foot pedal.
04
Yes, as an option. Bar capacity is 52 mm (2 in) through a 66 mm (2.6 in) spindle bore, and Dener lists an automatic bar feeder unit and a part catcher under optional equipment.
