Overview
Twelve metres is the standard mill length for much structural tube, and the Dener FTL 12025 is the smallest Dener tube fiber laser that takes it whole. Maximum cutting length is 12,300 mm (484.3 in), the chuck is 250 mm and the loading and unloading lengths are 12 m each.
Buying full mill lengths and cutting them without a saw is the economic case. Fewer offcuts, no pre-cutting, and with a minimum tail of ≥0 mm the whole bar becomes parts.
The machine needs a long building. Its dimensions are 28,200 × 2,800 × 2,800 mm, and material handling at each end adds to that. Y travel is 13,100 mm.
Per-bar capacity is 1,200 kg (2,646 lb), the same as on the nine-metre FTL models. Over twelve metres that means lighter sections at full length. Feed and rotation are those of the 250 mm class, 92 m/min and 85 r/min, with 0.6 G of acceleration.
Laser power is 3-20 kW. Dener fits a BOCI BLT442T head for 12 kW and a BLT560H for 20 kW, and the FSCUT5000A control with TubePro handles tube and profile geometry. Servo follow-up supports carry the bar between the three chucks.
