A 350 mm (13.8 in) chuck on the nine-metre frame gives the Dener FTL 9035 the widest section range of Dener's mid-length tube lasers. Maximum cutting length is 9,300 mm and maximum cutting weight 1,200 kg (2,646 lb).
It shares its 19,000 × 2,800 × 3,000 mm outline, its 9 m unloading length and its weight limit with the FTL 9025. The differences are the chuck and what follows from it. Rotation speed is 54 r/min, tube feeding speed 81 m/min, and the Y axis travels 10,100 mm. Acceleration is 0.6 G.
Consider the weight limit against the chuck. 1,200 kg over 9,300 mm is a moderate weight per metre, so the largest sections this chuck can grip are limited to moderate walls at full length, or to shorter bars with heavy walls.
Three chucks give a minimum tail of ≥0 mm. On 350 mm sections, where a metre of material is costly, cutting the bar to its end is a direct saving.
