Dener DDS-2090 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Dener DDS-2090 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Dener or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

Twenty ton on a 900 mm (35.4 in) bed: the Dener DDS-2090 is a compact ball screw press brake for small parts. It needs one 3.8 kW motor, weighs 2,000 kg (4,409 lb) and stands on a footprint of 1,280 mm by 1,760 mm.

Machines like this are placed next to a laser or punch to bend small parts as they come off the sheet, or in an assembly area where a full-size brake would be out of place. The electric drive helps there. Dener describes the series as free of hydraulic oil and points to reduced noise.

The ram approaches at 120 mm/sec, bends at 20 mm/sec and returns at 120 mm/sec. Maximum stroke is 150 mm, daylight 375 mm.

Despite its size, the standard specification is that of a full CNC brake. There are four axes (Y1, Y2, X, R), an ESA S 640 control and a DSP front laser safety system. Tooling is held in European-style sectional holders, with pneumatic or Wila clamping as options.

The DDS-2060 is the same machine with a 600 mm bed. Height is 2,190 mm on both, and both run from a 380 V three-phase supply.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Compact: 1,280 mm long, 1,760 mm wide, 2,000 kg (4,409 lb)
  • A single 3.8 kW motor drives the ram
  • 20 mm/sec bending speed, as on larger DDS models
  • Y1, Y2, X and R axes with an ESA S 640 control as standard

Limitations

  • Capacity is limited to 20 ton
  • Bending length is only 900 mm
  • 150 mm stroke and 375 mm daylight

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How big is the Dener DDS-2090?

Overall length is 1,280 mm, width 1,760 mm and height 2,190 mm. It weighs 2,000 kg (4,409 lb), light enough for many upper floors, subject to a structural check.

02 What can the DDS-2090 bend?

Parts up to 900 mm (35.4 in) long with up to 20 ton of force. Stroke is 150 mm and daylight 375 mm, which suits flat parts and shallow boxes.

03 What is the difference between the DDS-2090 and the DDS-2060?

Bending length. The DDS-2060 bends 600 mm, is 1,410 mm wide and weighs 1,700 kg. Force, speeds, stroke, daylight and motor are the same on both.

04 How fast is it?

Approach and return speeds are 120 mm/sec and bending speed is 20 mm/sec, the same as on the larger DDS-4013 with its two motors.
