Overview
The CHMER AW6E tops the AMStech AW-E series of AC servo wire EDMs with 600 x 400 mm (23.6 x 15.7 in) of X and Y travel and 300 mm (11.8 in) of Z. It is the only AW-E model with 300 mm of Z; the AW4E and AW5E stop at 260 mm (10.2 in).
The extra Z shows up directly in the workpiece row: 950 x 650 x 295 mm (37.4 x 25.6 x 11.6 in), with a weight limit of 700 kg (1,543 lb). Taper is rated ±21°/140mm with the wide-angle nozzle, on U and V axes that travel 120 x 120 mm (4.7 x 4.7 in).
