Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Campro CPV-1100B-BT50 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Campro CPV-1100B-BT50 puts a 50-taper spindle on the maker's mid-size box-way vertical machining center. It has 1,100 mm (43.3 in) of X travel, 620 mm (24.4 in) of Y and 600 mm (23.6 in) of Z, and it is the smallest machine in the CPV-B line to take BT-50 tooling.
Fifty taper in a frame this size is about cutter capacity and holder stiffness. The changer accepts tools of 15 kg (33 lb), Ø110 mm (Ø4.3 in) and 300 mm (11.8 in), with Ø200 mm (Ø7.8 in) possible next to empty pockets. That opens the door to face mills and boring bars the 40-taper CPV-1100B-BT40 cannot carry, since it stops at 7 kg (15 lb).
Do not read the bigger taper as a bigger motor. The spindle motor is listed at 11 / 15 kW (20 HP), the same row as the BT40 version, and top speed is 6,000 rpm. Campro's page for this model lists no gear head option, although it does for the larger BT50 machines. Every motion is a little slower too: 3.5 sec tool to tool, 7 sec chip to chip, and 15 m/min on Z against 20 m/min on X and Y.
The table is 1,200 × 600 mm (47.2 in x 23.6 in) and holds 1,100 kg (2,425 lb). Weight rises to 7,000 kg (15,432 lb) and the power supply to 25 kVA. Campro describes box ways on 3 axes, scraped Turcite-B slideways and a spindle oil cooler as standard equipment.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- BT-50 tooling on an 1,100 mm (43.3 in) machine: tools up to 15 kg (33 lb) and Ø110 mm (Ø4.3 in)
- Ø200 mm (Ø7.8 in) cutters fit with adjacent pockets empty
- Same 1,200 × 600 mm (47.2 in x 23.6 in) table and 1,100 kg (2,425 lb) load as the CPV-1100B-BT40
- Box ways on 3 axes with pretensioned class C3 ball screws, per Campro
- Compact for a 50-taper machine: 3,325 × 2,700 mm (130 in x 106 in)
Limitations
- Spindle motor stays at 11 / 15 kW (20 HP), no more than the CPV-1100B-BT40
- Top speed of 6,000 rpm limits small-diameter tools
- Z rapid is 15 m/min and chip to chip time is 7 sec
- Magazine holds 24 tools with no larger option in the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
For tool capacity. The CPV-1100B-BT50 takes tools of 15 kg (33 lb), Ø110 mm (Ø4.3 in) and 300 mm (11.8 in), against 7 kg (15 lb), Ø80 mm (Ø3.1 in) and 250 mm (9.8 in) on the CPV-1100B-BT40. What it gives up is speed: 6,000 rpm and 7 sec chip to chip, where the CPV-1100B-BT40 reaches 8,000 rpm and 6 sec.
02
The spindle motor row reads 11 / 15 kW (20 HP) and the spindle speed is 6,000 rpm on a 7/24 taper No.50. Campro describes the standard spindle as belt type with class P4 angular contact ball bearings. No torque figure and no gear head option appear on the page for this model.
03
Travels are 1,100 mm (43.3 in), 620 mm (24.4 in) and 600 mm (23.6 in) in X, Y and Z. The spindle nose is 120~720 mm (4.7 in ~ 28.3 in) from the table surface. The table measures 1,200 × 600 mm (47.2 in x 23.6 in) and carries 1,100 kg (2,425 lb).
04
It weighs 7,000 kg (15,432 lb) and occupies 3,325 × 2,700 mm (130 in x 106 in), with a maximum height of 2,880 mm (113 in). The power supply is 25 kVA and the air source is 6~8 kg/cm² (85 ~ 113 PSI).
