Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Boschert G-ElectroBend that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Boschert G-ElectroBend is a servo-electric CNC press brake in three sizes. The 2060 bends with 60 t over a working length of 2,100 mm, the 2580 with 80 t over 2,600 mm, and the 3100 with 100 t over 3,100 mm.
There is no hydraulic oil in the machine. Boschert says the drive draws power only when the ram moves and quotes up to 50% lower energy consumption and up to 35% faster bending cycles than hydraulic press brakes. The connection values are 2x6.5 kW on the 2060 and 2x8.4 kW on the two larger sizes.
The frame is a rigid O-frame, and high-resolution linear encoders monitor the ram position through the bend. On each size the distance between the uprights is slightly more than the working length, 2,150 mm against 2,100 mm on the smallest, so a full-length part passes between the side frames.
Upstroke speed is 100 mm/sec. Working speed is 20 mm/sec, a figure the table notes is limited by the safety regulations for CE countries. The machines are 3,100 mm, 3,600 mm and 4,100 mm wide, 1,650 mm deep and 2,670 mm high, and they weigh 5,750 kg, 6,550 kg and 7,500 kg. The table stops there. Stroke, open height, backgauge axes and the control are not listed, and those are questions to put to Boschert before comparing this machine with another.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Three: the 2060 with 60 t and a 2,100 mm working length, the 2580 with 80 t and 2,600 mm, and the 3100 with 100 t and 3,100 mm. Their weights are 5,750 kg, 6,550 kg and 7,500 kg.
02
No. Boschert describes it as a fully servo-electric press brake that operates without hydraulic oil, which removes oil leaks and the upkeep of a hydraulic system. The connection values are 2x6.5 kW on the 2060 and 2x8.4 kW on the 2580 and 3100.
03
Upstroke speed is 100 mm/sec and working speed is 20 mm/sec, the latter limited according to safety regulations for CE countries. Boschert also quotes up to 35% faster bending cycles than hydraulic press brakes.
04
The 2060 is 3,100 mm wide, the 2580 is 3,600 mm and the 3100 is 4,100 mm. All three are 1,650 mm deep and 2,670 mm high. The distance between the uprights is 2,150 mm, 2,650 mm and 3,150 mm.
