The Machitech Fiber Prime S 6x12 brings 12 to 60 kW of laser power to sheet 157 in (4,000 mm) long and 78 in (2,000 mm) wide. It is the second of four sizes and the first of the three that share one set of motion figures: 2.8 G of acceleration and a rapid speed of 7,875 ipm (200 m/min).

Against the Fiber Prime 6x12, which takes the same sheet, the difference is weight in every sense. This machine is rated for a workpiece of 9,700 lbs (4,400 kg) and weighs 35,250 lbs (16,000 kg) itself. The lighter Fiber Prime 6x12 carries 5,530 lbs (2,510 kg).
