14,000 mm (551.2 in) of X travel makes the AWEA LG-14050 the longest LG gantry machine with the 5,000 mm (196.9 in) Y crossbeam. No other LG has this X stroke: the next step is the LG-20070, at 20,000 mm (787.4 in) and with a 7,000 mm (275.6 in) Y. The fixed table is 14,000 x 4,800 mm (551.2 x 189.0 in) and Z travel is 1,000 mm (39.4 in).
A stroke like this is beyond ball screws. For LG models from 6 m of X upward AWEA specifies its patented zero backlash rack & pinion with a 1µm linear scale, the two sides of the gantry kept together by synchronous servo control. The X rapid holds at 20 m/min (787 ipm). Table and side columns are modular, which is how the maker stretches the same design to this length.
