Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Anderson Stratos Pro 24 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Anderson Stratos Pro 24 is the long-bed version of the Stratos Pro: the table grows to 7700 mm (303 in) in X while staying 1600 mm (63 in) in Y, and the X stroke is 7900 mm (311 in). Y and Z strokes are 2180 mm (86 in) and 350 mm (14 in), as on the standard Pro.
Length is the whole point of this model. A bed of this size takes long panels in one piece, such as countertops, stair stringers or architectural mouldings. It can also be worked as two stations, with one end cutting while the other is unloaded, although Anderson's table does not describe a pendulum mode and that should be confirmed before it is planned for.
The extra length does not slow the machine down on paper. X and Y rapids are both 100 M/min and the maximum rapid traverse is 141 M/min, the same figures as the Stratos Pro. The spindle is rated 18 HP at up to 24000 rpm on HSK 63 tooling. Because the 10 or 12 position tool changer rides along with the gantry, a tool change at the far end of a 7900 mm stroke costs no return trip, which matters more here than on a short bed.
The table has 4 vacuum zones, and pumps of 10, 25 or 40 HP are listed. On a bed this long, holding a single narrow workpiece means most of the surface is uncovered, so zone layout and pump size deserve attention at order. Automatic loading, an offload pusher, a bar-code reader, a C-axis and reverse air flow are optional.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 7700 mm (303 in) table and 7900 mm (311 in) of X stroke for long panels in one setup
- Keeps the 100 M/min X and Y rapids and 141 M/min maximum rapid traverse of the standard Stratos Pro
- Ride-along tool changer with 10 or 12 positions, so tool changes do not depend on where the gantry is along the bed
- 18 HP spindle at up to 24000 rpm on HSK 63, with a 5+5 or 10+7 boring block
- Automatic loading and an offload pusher are listed as options
Limitations
- Table width stays at 1600 mm (63 in); the wider 2100 mm (83 in) table is only on the Stratos Pro XL
- Only 4 vacuum zones over a 7700 mm (303 in) table, so small parts leave large areas to seal or switch off
- No machine weight, floor area or foundation data in Anderson's table for a machine of this length
- Spindle power is the same 18 HP as the shorter Pro

Frequently Asked Questions
01
7700 mm (303 in) in X by 1600 mm (63 in) in Y, with an X stroke of 7900 mm (311 in). Anderson describes the model as extending the bed to 303" for long panels. The standard Stratos Pro table is 3700 mm (146 in) long on the same width.
02
Not by the listed figures. Both have rapids of 100 M/min in X and Y, 30 M/min in Z and a maximum rapid traverse of 141 M/min. The spindle, tool changer and boring block rows are also identical. The differences in the table are the X table size and X stroke.
03
A table with 4 vacuum zones, fed by a vacuum pump listed in 10, 25 or 40 HP sizes. Anderson also says clamping, grid or manifold vacuum systems can be chosen across the Stratos line. Reverse air flow is an option.
04
Reverse air flow, a bar-code reader, a C-axis, an offload pusher, automatic loading and the Vector Spindle HSK 63-E are each listed as optional. Anderson states that the Stratos Pro and Pro 24 support automatic loading systems, bar-code readers and offload pushers.
