Overview
The AccuteX AP-4030A is the smaller of the two AP-series wire EDMs, with 400 mm (15.7 in) of X travel, 300 mm (11.8 in) of Y and a 270 mm (10.6 in) Z stroke. AccuteX heads the AP series as a high-end wire cut EDM with a compound table and shaft-type linear motors, and this model's standard accessory list backs that up: the XY Axes Linear Motor System and a 0.1μm Resolution Linear Scale are both on it, not on the options list.
For a machine with these travels there is a lot of iron behind the table.
