Overview

The Accurl EURO-PRO B 1563 is the smallest press brake in the EURO-PRO B table: 630 kN of bending capacity on a bending length of 1,500 mm (59.1 in). At 4,600 kg (10,141 lb) and 1,825 mm (71.9 in) long, it is a machine that goes into a corner of the shop rather than down the middle of it.

Short does not mean stripped. The catalogue gives this size the same standard equipment as the six-metre machines: a DELEM DA-66T control with 2D graphics, Y1 and Y2 ram positioning, CNC motorized wave crowning and a BGA-2 backgauge on the X and R axes. The backgauge stroke in the table is 750 mm (29.5 in), half the bending length, which is generous on a brake this size.

Only 1,100 mm (43.3 in) separates the side frames. Anything wider than that has to stay within the 370 mm (14.6 in) gap. The tool space is the smallest of the series too, with 350 mm (13.8 in) of daylight and a 200 mm (7.9 in) stroke, so tall tooling and deep boxes are not what it is for.

Speed is where a small brake earns its place. The ram approaches at 200 mm/s, bends at 10 mm/s and returns at 160 mm/s, all on a 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) motor. One printed figure deserves a question to the maker: the height of 2,600 mm (102.4 in) is greater than the 2,430 mm (95.7 in) listed for the longer EURO-PRO B 2563.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Compact: 1,825 mm (71.9 in) long, 1,650 mm (65 in) wide, 4,600 kg (10,141 lb)
  • 200 mm/s approach and 160 mm/s return for short-cycle small parts
  • Full CNC equipment on the smallest size: DELEM DA-66T, Y1, Y2 and CNC motorized wave crowning
  • Backgauge stroke of 750 mm (29.5 in) on a 1,500 mm (59.1 in) bed
  • 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) motor with a stand-by function

Limitations

  • Bending length stops at 1,500 mm (59.1 in), with 1,100 mm (43.3 in) between the side frames
  • Daylight of 350 mm (13.8 in) and stroke of 200 mm (7.9 in) limit tool height and box depth
  • 630 kN is the lowest capacity in the table
  • Table is 80 mm (3.1 in) wide, the narrowest of the series

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How big is the Accurl EURO-PRO B 1563?

The table gives a length of 1,825 mm (71.9 in), a width of 1,650 mm (65 in) and a height of 2,600 mm (102.4 in), with a weight of 4,600 kg (10,141 lb). Accurl marks all four figures with a plus/minus sign.

02 What is the widest part that passes between the frames?

The distance between the side frames is 1,100 mm (43.3 in). Longer parts, up to the 1,500 mm (59.1 in) bending length, must have their flange inside the 370 mm (14.6 in) gap of the frames.

03 Does the EURO-PRO B 1563 have a smaller control than the large models?

No. The standard equipment list applies to the series: a DELEM DA-66T CNC control unit with 2D graphics and Delem Profile-TL offline software. A DELEM DA69T or ModEva Premium is optional equipment.

04 Is there a longer machine with the same force?

Yes. The EURO-PRO B 2563 has the same 630 kN and the same 5.5 kW (7.4 hp) motor on a bending length of 2,500 mm (98.4 in), and weighs 5,600 kg (12,346 lb).
