Glebar builds centerless grinders, micro and guidewire grinders, centerless form grinders, a double disc grinder and OD grinders, with design and manufacturing in New Jersey. The company was founded in 1952 by Miner Gleason and Robert Barhorst in Ramsey, New Jersey, to make machine tools based on centerless grinding. Since acquiring Tridex Technology and Everite Machine Products in 2020 it also sells electrochemical (ECG) grinding and cutoff machines under the Tridex name.
