Price estimate
We do not have a price for the WardJet H-1515 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The WARDJet H-1515 is a water-only waterjet for batch cutting of soft materials, with a 60" x 60" (1.52 m x 1.52 m) cutting area and 10" (0.25 m) of Z-axis travel. It has no abrasive hopper. WARDJet describes it as carrying the features of its abrasive X-Series with additions made specifically for water-only work, in a footprint of under 70 ft2.
The additions are in the tank. Its bottom is solid stainless steel and sloped, and washdown valves push water and scrap to one point at the back of the tank where it can be collected and sent to a drain. In water-only cutting the waste is foam, rubber or gasket offcut rather than spent garnet, and it floats or mats instead of settling, so a tank that clears itself is what keeps a batch machine running.
Loading is from any side. The rails are elevated and the cutting surface is raised to the height of the tank lip, which also lets material longer than the 60" table pass through. Up to two Z-carriages can be fitted.
The motion system is the X-Series one: ballscrew in all axes, on THK ballscrews and rails, with repeatability of ± 0.001" per axis (± 0.03 mm per axis). The metric speed range is 0.25 mm/min - 22.9 m/min. The gantry needs 230V 30 amps, Three Phase and 80 psi, 2 cfm (5.52 bar, 0.06 cmm) of air, and occupies 7.5' x 9' (2.29 m x 2.74 m).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Sloped stainless steel tank bottom with washdown valves that collect waste at one drain point
- Cutting surface raised to the tank lip, so material can be loaded from all sides and passed through
- Ballscrew in all axes with ± 0.001" per axis (± 0.03 mm per axis) repeatability
- Compact 7.5' x 9' (2.29 m x 2.74 m) footprint
- Up to 2 Z-carriages, with spreader bars and independent heads among the configurations WARDJet names
Limitations
- Water-only: there is no abrasive hopper, so metal, stone and glass are outside its scope
- Z-axis travel is 10" (0.25 m), less than the 12" (0.30 m) of the X-1515
- Washdown bars in the tank are an outfitting choice, not stated as standard
- The table lists gantry power only and no pump figures

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It is built for water-only cutting. The table has no bulk feed hopper for abrasive, and WARDJet states that the H-Series is designed specifically for water-only batch processing. For abrasive cutting on the same 60" x 60" (1.52 m x 1.52 m) table size, WARDJet lists the X-1515.
02
The tank bottom is sloped stainless steel. WARDJet states that the slope, assisted by washdown valves, focuses water to a central point at the back of the tank where wastewater can be collected and fed to a drain. Washdown bars can be added in the tank.
03
The one-carriage X-Y cutting area is 60" x 60" (1.52 m x 1.52 m) with 10" (0.25 m) of Z-axis travel. The footprint is 7.5' x 9' (2.29 m x 2.74 m).
04
The table lists a maximum of 2 Z-carriages. WARDJet says head configurations can be tailored during the initial build as well as after installation, so a second head can be added later.
