Overview
The Vision Wide GSA-5032 is a five-metre gantry with a wide bridge: 5,000 mm (196.9 in) of X travel, 3,200 mm (126.0 in) of Y, and a 5,000×3,200 mm (196.9×126.0 in) fixed table.
It is specified from the start as a measured, controlled machine. The standard list includes a HEIDENHAIN TNC640 controller, dual linear scales on X, a linear scale on each of Y and Z, and correction of the head's rotation errors. Many large machines offer those as extras. Here they are the base, which fits the maker's description of the GSA as providing high accuracy performance in mold cutting and highly precise contour finishing.
