The Takamaz XWT-8 is a twin-spindle, twin-turret CNC lathe with integrated thermal compensation designed for high-volume automated production of small to medium parts. The dual 8-inch collet chucks and paired 8-station turrets enable simultaneous machining on both spindles, effectively doubling throughput on parts that require complete both-end machining. With spindle speeds reaching 4,000 RPM and 11/7.5 kW motors on each spindle, the XWT-8 handles a range of materials including steel, aluminum, brass, and cast iron at production feeds.

The twin-spindle architecture with automatic part transfer between main and sub-spindle eliminates the need for a second-operation lathe.
