Overview
The Republic Lagun UTC-2240 is the shortest of the four Universal Turning Centers built on the Ø 22 in (550 mm) swing bed. With 34.25 in (870 mm) between centers and 30.7 in (780 mm) of Z travel it is closer to a chucker than a shaft lathe, and at 4,050 kg (8,929 lb) net it is a heavy machine for that length.
