Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Onsrud 146RH that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Onsrud 146RH is the largest roller hold-down router Onsrud lists, with a table of 146 in (3,708 mm) by 72 in (1,829 mm). Like the rest of the RH-Series it is a 3-axis fixed-bridge machine with an 18 hp (13.4 kW), 24,000 rpm spindle and four hold-down rollers around the cut.
Six feet of width is the point. Sheet goods wider than five feet are awkward to stack-cut on vacuum alone because wide sheets bow, and bowed sheets are what the rollers are for. The regulated pressure of each roller, in Onsrud's description, prevents premature wear and slamming.
This is the only RH model with 3 vacuum zones. It is also the widest, at 160 in (4,064 mm), and the lowest, at 83 in (2,108 mm). Length is 229 in (5,817 mm).
Nothing else changes with size: 12 tools, an 11 in (279 mm) Z-stroke, and upgrades to a 24 hp (17.9 kW) spindle, a second spindle and a second tool changer. With two spindles on a table this wide, each can work its own half of a stack. Parking one, as Onsrud describes, returns the full table to a single spindle for big parts.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table is 146 in (3,708 mm) by 72 in (1,829 mm). It has 3 vacuum zones as standard, and the rollers hold stacked or warped material at the cut.
02
229 in (5,817 mm) long, 160 in (4,064 mm) wide and 83 in (2,108 mm) high. It is the widest RH-Series machine and the lowest of the three.
03
No. Both are listed with the 18 hp (13.4 kW), 24,000 rpm standard spindle and the 24 hp (17.9 kW) upgrade. The difference between them is table size and the number of vacuum zones.
04
Yes, 2 spindles are a listed upgrade, along with a second tool changer. Onsrud describes cutting simultaneously with both to double production, or parking one for access to the entire table.
