Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Onsrud 145G that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
A five-by-twelve sheet is the reference load for the Onsrud 145G. Its table measures 145 in (3,683 mm) in X by 61 in (1,550 mm) in Y, which makes it the first of the five-foot-wide tables in the 3-axis G-Series moving-gantry line.
Onsrud prints the 145G in two blocks of its table, one for an 11 in (279 mm) Z-stroke and one for 18 in (457 mm). The stroke changes the frame, not the table. With 11 in of Z the machine is 239 in (6,071 mm) long and 103 in (2,617 mm) high. With 18 in it is slightly shorter, 235 in (5,969 mm), but stands 140 in (3,556 mm) high. Width is 136 in (3,455 mm) either way. The taller stroke is paid for in ceiling clearance, so measure the building before choosing it.
Vacuum is split into 3 zones as standard. Three zones do not divide a twelve-foot table into two equal working halves, which matters if the plan is to cut at one end while loading the other. Ask how the zones are laid out, or specify custom zones, which Onsrud offers.
The spindle is 18 hp (13.4 kW) at up to 24,000 rpm with a 12-tool capacity. Up to 4 spindles and a second gantry appear on the upgrade list, though on a table of this length a second gantry has little room to work independently. For a 28 in (711 mm) stroke at this frame size, Onsrud lists the 121G, with a 121 in (3,074 mm) table.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Table of 145 in (3,683 mm) by 61 in (1,550 mm) for five-by-twelve sheet
- Two Z-strokes listed: 11 in (279 mm) and 18 in (457 mm)
- Machine width of 136 in (3,455 mm), the narrowest among the five-foot-wide G-Series frames
- 3 vacuum zones as standard, with custom zones offered
Limitations
- Machine height rises from 103 in (2,617 mm) to 140 in (3,556 mm) with the 18 in Z-stroke
- Three zones do not split the table into two equal pendulum halves
- Too short for two eight-foot sheets end to end; that needs the 193G

Frequently Asked Questions
01
145 in (3,683 mm) in X by 61 in (1,550 mm) in Y. That covers a five-by-twelve sheet with an inch of margin on each axis, and anything smaller, such as five-by-ten or four-by-eight material.
02
The table stays the same. Machine length goes from 239 in (6,071 mm) to 235 in (5,969 mm), and machine height from 103 in (2,617 mm) to 140 in (3,556 mm). Width remains 136 in (3,455 mm). The added height is the figure to check against the building.
03
The 193G has a 192.5 in (4,890 mm) table and 4 vacuum zones against the 145G's 145 in (3,683 mm) and 3. Table Y, machine width, spindle and tooling are identical, so the choice is table length against floor space.
04
Onsrud names a FANUC controller as standard for the G-Series and offers its own touchscreen interface as the alternative. The maker's page gives no control model, so confirm the exact unit when specifying the machine.
