Overview
At 51 mm (2.0 in), the Nexturn SA51XII has the largest bar capacity of any machine in the SA range. Turning length is 150 mm (5.9 in), both spindles are limited to 6,000 rpm, and the table lists 22 tools on eight axes with a FANUC 0iTF control.
This is the X machine with real drilling capacity. The main spindle is listed for 20 mm (0.8 in) drills and M16 taps, and the cross drill and mill unit has a 2.2 kW (3.0 hp) motor with a 16 mm (0.6 in) and M12 limit. On the SA45XII the cross unit is 1.0 kW (1.3 hp) and stops at 13 mm (0.5 in). A cross disc mill can be 50 mm (2.0 in) in diameter. Back-end face tools stay at 13 mm and M10 on a 1.0 kW (1.3 hp) drive.
