Overview
The Mazak INTEGREX i-200H S is the mid-size horizontal dual-spindle multi-tasking machine in the INTEGREX i-H lineup, adding a sub spindle to the i-200H platform for done-in-one processing with gravity-assisted chip evacuation. The horizontal milling head orientation is preferred for unattended machining of stringy-chip materials like stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.
The main turning spindle delivers 22 kW (30 hp) at 5,000 RPM through an 8-inch chuck with 65 mm (2.56 in) bar capacity. The sub spindle provides 15 kW (20 hp) at 5,000 RPM with a 6-inch chuck for back-working. The compact horizontal milling spindle runs at 12,000 RPM with 18.5 kW (25 hp) through HSK-A63, with 20,000 RPM optional.
Maximum machining diameter is 600 mm (23.62 in). Y-axis travel is 210 mm (8.27 in). The B-axis provides 240 degrees with roller cam drive and 0.0001-degree resolution. Standard ball screw core cooling on all axes.
The standard 36-tool ATC expands to 72 or 110 tools. SmoothAi with Ai Thermal Shield. Machine weight approximately 10,000 kg (22,046 lb). New machines $340,000-$500,000.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Horizontal milling head provides gravity-assisted chip evacuation for lights-out reliability on stainless and Inconel
- 5,000 RPM main spindle delivers excellent surface finish and cycle times on small-to-medium diameter work
- Sub spindle enables complete done-in-one processing eliminating second operations
- 18.5 kW milling spindle provides genuine machining center performance
- Ball screw core cooling maintains thermal stability during long unattended runs
- Moderate footprint and weight allow standard floor installation in most shops
Limitations
- 210 mm Y-axis is narrower than 300 mm on i-250H and larger models
- 65 mm bar capacity limits to small-to-medium bar work; larger bar needs i-250H S
- Horizontal format adds 10-15% price premium over equivalent vertical i-200S
- Sub spindle power at 15 kW limits heavy roughing on back-end of tough materials

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Base starts around $340,000. With high-speed milling, expanded magazine, and bar feeder runs $420K-$500K.
02
Same core spindle specs but horizontal milling head orientation. H variant preferred for chip-problematic materials and unattended operation. Adds 10-15% premium.
03
The i-250H S steps up to 80 mm bar, 300 mm Y-axis, and larger spindle. Choose i-200H S for parts within 65 mm bar capacity where cost savings matter.
04
Excellent. Horizontal format with bar feeder, part catcher, and SmoothAi tool life management. Chip evacuation advantage makes this one of the most reliable lights-out platforms.
