Overview

The Mazak INTEGREX e-RAMTEC V/8 is the smallest model in the e-RAMTEC series of specialized vertical multi-tasking machines featuring a dedicated ram spindle for deep internal machining. The V/8 designation indicates the 8-pallet class size, handling workpieces up to 1,250 mm (49.21 in) in diameter and 1,250 mm (49.21 in) in height.

The defining feature is the ram spindle with 900 mm (35.43 in) of vertical stroke, purpose-built for reaching deep inside workpieces to machine internal bores, passages, and cavities that standard vertical milling spindles cannot access. The ram carries its own 40-tool magazine, separate from the main milling spindle tooling, for dedicated internal machining operations.
