LVD Dyna-Press 60/20 Pro — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the LVD Dyna-Press 60/20 Pro that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from LVD or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The LVD Dyna-Press 60/20 Pro is the largest of LVD's electric press brakes: 600 kN of pressing force on a 2,040 mm (80.3 in) working length. It is also the only Dyna-Press for which LVD lists CNC crowning, as an option.

At two metres, crowning starts to count. Deflection of ram and table grows with length and load, and a bend that is true at the ends can open in the middle; a crowning system compensates for it. On this machine it has to be ordered.

Being a Pro model, it has the five-axis backgauge, with independent X1 and X2 alongside R, Z1 and Z2, and an IRIS Lazer Safe guarding system in place of the lightguard used on the standard models. Three options define what it can become. Easy-Form Laser is LVD's adaptive bending system for angle accuracy. Pneumatic clamping on ram and table shortens tool changes compared with the manual clamps supplied. A communication interface with robot fingers prepares the machine for robotic bending.

The ram is driven electrically through two ball screws. Approach and return speeds are 100 mm/s and the working speed 25 mm/s, the same as on the smaller models, so the larger frame gives up nothing in cycle time. Stroke is 200 mm (7.9 in), open height 400 mm (15.7 in), and the uprights are 2,045 mm (80.5 in) apart. The gap on the left side is 175 mm (6.9 in), deeper than the 100 mm of the Dyna-Press 40/15.

Tooling is W style on top and LVD style below; the universal tooling accepted by the standard models is not listed. The machine stands 2,985 mm (117.5 in) high and 1,665 mm (65.6 in) deep, weighs 6,500 kg (14,330 lb) and is listed at 14 kW electricity consumption. Working height is 970 mm (38.2 in).

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 600 kN and 2,040 mm (80.3 in) working length, the largest in the Dyna-Press line
  • 5-axis backgauge with independent X1 and X2 axes
  • Easy-Form Laser adaptive bending available as an option
  • CNC crowning offered as an option, on this model only
  • IRIS Lazer Safe guarding and a 175 mm (6.9 in) left-side gap

Limitations

  • Easy-Form Laser, CNC crowning, pneumatic clamping and the robot interface are all options
  • Takes W style top tooling and LVD style bottom tooling only
  • 14 kW electricity consumption, against 8 kW for the Dyna-Press 40/15
  • At 6,500 kg (14,330 lb) and 2,985 mm (117.5 in) high it is no longer a small machine to site

Best For

Parts up to 2,040 mm that need electric-drive cycle speed Angle-critical work with the Easy-Form Laser option Robot-tended bending using the communication interface option Non-parallel flanges gauged with X1 and X2

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What does Pro mean on the Dyna-Press 60/20 Pro?

In LVD's table the Pro models have a 5-axis backgauge (X1, X2, R, Z1, Z2) instead of four axes, an IRIS Lazer Safe guarding system instead of a lightguard, and W style top tooling with optional pneumatic clamping. They can also be ordered with Easy-Form Laser and prepared for robot integration.

02 Does it have CNC crowning?

As an option. The Dyna-Press 60/20 Pro is the only model in the Dyna-Press table for which CNC crowning is offered; on the other sizes it is marked as not available. With 2,040 mm (80.3 in) of working length and 600 kN, this is the size where deflection compensation is most likely to be needed.

03 How large a part can it bend?

Working length is 2,040 mm (80.3 in) and the distance between uprights 2,045 mm (80.5 in). The stroke is 200 mm (7.9 in) and the distance between table and ram 400 mm (15.7 in). On the left side the gap is 175 mm (6.9 in).

04 Is it as fast as the smaller Dyna-Press models?

Yes, in LVD's figures. Approach speed is 100 mm/s, working speed 25 mm/s and return speed 100 mm/s, identical to the Dyna-Press 24/12 and the Dyna-Press 40/15. Working speed is limited to the safety norm in CE countries.

05 What is Easy-Form Laser?

LVD's adaptive bending system, offered on the Dyna-Press Pro to ensure angle accuracy. It is an option, not standard equipment. Without it, the machine relies on its ram positioning, which LVD describes as precise position and force control across the entire length of the ram.
