Overview
The LICO LNT-65S is the largest multi-slide CNC automatic in the LNT S series, with a 65 mm (2.56 in) collet bar capacity and a 4,000 rpm spindle on an ISO A2-6 nose. LICO names plumbing fittings, vehicle and aviation parts among the work the series is meant for, and names aluminum, brass, steels, high alloy steels and stainless steels as materials.
Bar this size asks more of the spindle than of the slides. The through hole is 78 mm (3.1 in) with a 66 mm (2.6 in) draw tube, the collet chuck is an F72, and the motor is 20 kW (27 HP) with the S840Dsl control or 15 kW (20 HP) with the M730. The bed is described as rib reinforced, with the Z-axis slide base and bed in one piece and a wide span between the Z-axis linear ways.
