Overview
The HNK HPM-15M (15x40) adds a metre of table to the smallest five-face bridge. It measures 1,500 x 4,000 mm (59.1 x 157.5 in), travels 4,250 mm (167.3 in) in X and carries 15,000 kg (33,069 lb).
HNK builds the same table as a fixed-crossrail machine too, the HPF-15M (15x40), and the comparison explains what the HPM-M is for. The HPF-15M has no W-axis and a fixed 1,200 mm (47.2 in) under the spindle. The HPM-15M can raise and lower its crossrail by 1,000 mm (39.4 in). Low work is cut with the rail down and the ram short, which is the stiff condition; tall work is still reachable with the rail up. Its 800 mm (31.5 in) ram travel is the working stroke.
