Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Han's Laser HBS2341 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Han's Laser HBS2341 is the four-metre version of Han's Laser's 2,300 kN press brake. Maximum bending width is 4,100 mm (161.4 in), and the uprights are set 3,700 mm (145.7 in) apart.
Who needs 2,300 kN over four metres? Fabricators of long structural sections in plate: crane and trailer members, tank sections, heavy cabinet frames. The length is set by the part, and the force by the plate. Bending the same plate on a shorter brake would mean a welded joint in the middle of the part.
Its ram figures are those of the three-metre model. Fast down speed is 170 mm/s, working speed 12 mm/s, return speed 170 mm/s, all from an 18 kW (24.1 hp) motor and a 200 L tank. In other words the longer bed costs nothing in cycle time. Closed height is 575 mm (22.6 in) and throat depth 410 mm (16.1 in).
Length does cost something in straightness, and that is the job of the crowning. The mechanical compensation in the bed can be adjusted in both directions to cancel the bow of ram and bed under load. Han's Laser also points to the reinforced ram and the stress-relieved frame.
Plan the bay generously. The machine is 4,628 × 1,850 × 2,722 mm (182.2 × 72.8 × 107.2 in), and four-metre plate needs lifting gear and room to turn. The IFT CNC system handles programming, with 3D model import.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 2,300 kN over a 4,100 mm (161.4 in) bending width
- Same 170 mm/s, 12 mm/s and 170 mm/s ram speeds as the shorter HBS2331
- 575 mm (22.6 in) closed height
- 3,700 mm (145.7 in) clear between uprights
Limitations
- Working speed of 12 mm/s is slower than the 14 mm/s of the HBS1641
- Machine height of 2,722 mm needs checking against the building
- Weight and backgauge data are missing from the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Press force 2,300 kN, maximum bending width 4,100 mm (161.4 in), closed height 575 mm (22.6 in), distance between uprights 3,700 mm (145.7 in), throat depth 410 mm (16.1 in) and motor power 18 kW (24.1 hp).
02
No. The HBS2331 and the HBS2341 are both listed at a fast down speed of 170 mm/s, a working speed of 12 mm/s and a return speed of 170 mm/s, and both use an 18 kW (24.1 hp) motor.
03
4,628 × 1,850 × 2,722 mm (182.2 × 72.8 × 107.2 in), given as length, width and height. The HBS2641 is listed with identical overall dimensions, so the two share a footprint.
04
The HBS2641, with 2,600 kN on the same 4,100 mm (161.4 in) bed and the same 18 kW (24.1 hp) motor; the HBS2641 is listed at a working speed of 11 mm/s and a fast down speed of 120 mm/s.
